Bienville Square

AWESOME PLACES. ESPECIALLY AFTER REPAIRING THE DAMAGE FROM THE HURRICANE. I WAS BORN IN MOBILE AL AND DO MISS FEEDING THE SQUIRRELS AND PIGEONS. A GREAT PLACE TO GO AND RELAX AND FORGET ABOUT YOUR TROUBLES.

This is a very relaxing park. Although it’s not large, it is very comfortable and clean inside. The fountain is also beautiful, which I really like. Additionally, the squirrels here are so lively and cute!

During a recent stroll I noticed the fountain was gone and knew this would be an historic event. The fountain is being cleaned and refurbished to look like new. It's the first time I've ever known this to be done since I moved here back in 1979. Enjoy the Top Down view.

Even though the park has lost some of its iconic oaks to storms, Bienville Square is a vibrant oasis in the heart of downtown. The park plays host to events all year long and is an enjoyable place for a picnic lunch or midday work break. Highly recommended!

Squirrel ?️ ? feeding just ain't the same as it used to be, but it's still do-able! I hand fed two this morning (Sept 2024)... They'll get braver and fatter all in good time ?

Beautiful place to visit while in Mobile. There were families and other pets. Loved all the fat squirrels running around. The area looked well kept and there was minimal trash in the area. There are bathrooms located here, but they always seem to be locked for some reason. Nice little spot to sit and chat or read a book.
