This was overall a mediocre experience, definitely overpriced. My complaints aren't too major, just a few small things that add up. it is definitely evident that corners were cut and things were lazily done (ie. Cheap and uncomfortable bed sheets, putting all of the important information on a hard to navigate TV, unlined and tilted painting, etc). At least the bathroom was spacious and had a neat light.

One of my favorite California casinos. Good selection of slots and tables and dining. Staff is extremely professional helpful and friendly. Has both smoking and non smoking sections. The hotel is under remodel but is turning out to be even better than before. Haven't stayed in the RV park yet but definitely intending to. The ONLY downside to the location. It's a bit of a drive and majority of the roads are twisty turny and hilly but it is well worth the drive!!!

We stayed there 3 weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Watched the live band, enjoyed the awesome restaurant most importantly the beds are so comfortable just unbelievable. Staff was awesome. Construction really wasn't that bad, new pool looks great. We will definitely be back.

It's beautiful but a little too far for us,the rooms are very clean,lots of parking /valet parking available also ,food cafe,overall very nice had a good time, if u don't mind the drive check it out,we had a great time ?one thing that really made me upset ,my son was not asked to show his ID. As we went inside after a while a guy that worked there questioned his age my son showed him his ID but what got to me was that he got a flash light and turned his ID upside down flipped it t back and forth and I mean u as a Californian should be able to identify a fake ID I felt like really? Is this necessary? Then he asked him for his birthday ,my son is a U S Citizen he speaks fluent English, I felt like he was going over board other than that it was great

Me and my fiance went here last night trying to enjoy our night off not only were we followed around the place because my fiance had literally one drink. I think I guess it must be because we weren't rude and old like they were used to we were ID twice within 30 minutes I'm almost 30 years old and do not feel like I need to be followed around like a child. I was completely sober I was the DD for my fiance but we had to cut our night short due to them not only following us around but being told that we need to make a good impression to be able to leave that night or they were going to call the cops on us thinking that we were drinking and driving. I don't know about you but I'm pretty sure cars are only driven by one person and nor should I already be ID twice within 30 minutes. It got so bad to the point where they were following me to my car when I'm trying to tell them that I don't like to smoke inside that I wanted to smoke my cigarette outside of my car in the cold air. I will never be coming back to this place again should have went to the chicken ranch no place should allow their security to harass their customers. Telling me that I would have to pay for a night in their hotel that I could not leave but I'm sorry I do not have $200 to pay for a random night in a hotel that I wasn't planning on staying. Nor did they want to compt to room. I want someone from this place to apologize to me I should never have went through that type of disrespect.

We love Black Oak! The new restaurants were a great idea! The food is really good. My hamburger was as good as any in the county.

I didn't stay here, but my family and I went to see the drone show. When we got there, we were told that we would have the perfect view of the show from where we were sitting (by the staff), but when the actual show started it was half covered by a tree. My mother was on crutches and we missed a ton of the show trying to move to a spot where we could see it. The drones were great and it was a cute show, but make sure you know you have a spot where you can actually see the show if you go next year.

This hotel is average. The ONLY nice thing about it is the pool. It does not include breakfast or food of any kind. Considering the price I paid, a breakfast voucher for their restaurant would have equated. I've stayed here multiple times and almost every single time I've stayed here, I was woken up very, very early to construction. One time I was woken up by a jackhammer and looked at the clock and it said 5:46am. Another time, I was woken up by the workers literally standing right outside my window because they were painting, and that was at 7 o'clock. Frustrating. If I get a room again, I'll go to the pool and then go sleep at home so I won't be woken up at 5am by construction workers. Definitely ruined my vacation.
