Willing to change my rating if they address this issue. Bagels for delivery used to come with a good amount of cream cheese on it - now they come with one tiny container on the side. On delivery apps it’s a 6 dollar bagel - it feels cheap and lazy they have started doing this. this has happened the last three times in a row. Is this a permanent change? If so please lower the price of the bagel. Not the same amount it was two weeks ago and it’s not coming pre spread anymore - I pay extra for this bagel for the convenience of just having a bagel pre made for me.

First time here meeting two friends for coffee. I ordered a large white chocolate latte (hot), and the banana bread. The coffee was very good, and I’d return for that. The banana bread was too dense and heavy. It would be better if it was less dense, and had chopped walnuts — maybe offer cream cheese or butter? The cafe was spacious and clean. We sat outside as the weather was great. There seemed to be plenty of parking. However, with the other businesses there might be a challenge finding a parking space. The bathrooms were clean. Good luck getting toilet paper ? as theirs is very thin, and difficult to pull sheets off the roll.

I went to the Tempe location yesterday for the first time. I got an iced tea and it was fine. Last night about 1 hour after the location closed, by Visa card I used was hacked. Maybe a weird coincidence, but I had not used my card anywhere else. There was a $51 charge attempt that was declined, thankfully. Be careful when using your credit card at this store.

Out of all the Black Rock locations I have been to, this one is by far the best. It is clean, roomy, and has a great vibe. The baristas are friendly, patient, and very helpful. The beverages are really good. Try the Mexican Mocha or the Caramel Truffle. If you like less sweet drinks, ask them for half sweet.

First time here, they do not close for another 2 hours. I ordered a hot coffee, but they do not have any. He said that they do not have any brewed right now. It's in your name Black Rock "Coffee".
So I order two shot espresso latte, to go. While fitting the lid on top of my cup, he puts his bare hands and fingers all over the lid where I sip the drink, excellent way to get sick.

Great ambience and atmosphere! The smell of coffee permeates the the area. There is a huge variety of blends and concoctions on the menu; the regular hot menu is not as ambivalent. It is a choice, however, clarifying the choice would be helpful with a venue that is spreading it’s wings. This is an absolute visit while in Arizona!

I almost always have a positive experience here. One thing I wish they would fix is that dreaded block of time in the middle of the day when they don’t use the speaker box to take orders, so it takes twice as long to get your drink. Other than that, I like this place and it’s a reliable go-to for my caffeine fix.

I normally don’t write bad reviews for things like this but his was the first issue I’ve had at a coffee place and it is such a dumb issue to make a customer go through, its comical. I went to a location in Mesa to get a birthday freebie. They said their system had changed and I had to download the app rather than provide my phone number. I was in a hurry and did not have time to do that, so I left. I then went to this location in Tempe on a different day with the app downloaded and went through the drive thru to let them know I was there for my birthday freebie. The app allowed me to add and deduct 100% for a large beverage which I had loaded at the time. When I ordered, they told me it was only good for a medium, but I explained the app gave it to me, so the girl said ok, we’ll do that. When I got to the window another barista said the birthday freebie would only be good for the medium but then AGAIN, I explained the app gave me a large and I showed him the checkout screen showing a large. He said let’s scan the loyalty barcode and see if it works and it did work for the large beverage. All good now, right? Nope. He then hands me a medium and said next time I come in they can give me a large since they already had this made (even though I specifically asked for a large at the order speaker and the girl confirmed). So, I asked him why not just make me a large now and so he said OK. He turned around and asked the barista to make it a large since the app had allowed it as a birthday freebie and the other barista refused……Seriously?! They would rather lose a customer than simply make a new drink! If I had ordered through the app and done a mobile pick up, what would they have done then? Fight that too? For a simple tiny ounce upgrade?! Wow. Hahaha. I will say, the one benefit is that they made me not want to shop at BRCC again and therefore lessen the toxins consumed since as we all know, the majority of drink ingredients at coffee shops are fake. Anyway, won’t be buying from them again. Really really silly problem. Thanks, BRCC ?
