Still reminiscing our wedding on 01.25.2025. Truly no complaints about BLOC venue, Albina and her team. From the beginning, they have always answered our questions and responded very timely to our emails. What we loved about BLOC the most was how much of a blank canvas it was and that we were able to find our own vendors. Because of that, we were able to execute the wedding we dreamed of—implementing our own creativity and the freedom to create our vision. The flip side is that you will have to deal with finding a reliable team that can execute your vision. The only feedback I have is that I wish they had more wall partitions to hide our dinner tables on the side to prevent our guests from having a sneak peek but other than that, we highly recommend!

My husband and I were blending cultures for our wedding so we needed a lot of flexibility with space and vendors. BLOC was the perfect fit and so incredible to work with. Their space and beautiful rentals make decor so easy and Albina was amazing as our day-of coordinator. Can't recommend them enough!!

My husband and I were looking for a place where we could have our ceremony and reception and not be so limited with hours. This venue wasn’t only beautiful, but they also have rentals available such as: table linens, chairs, tables, candle holders, plates, napkins and so much more which the venue coordinators set up the day of your event. Anything you rent from them , they set up. They made the room flip easy and smooth for us. They were welcoming to our vendors and guest. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our special day!Albina was also super sweet and caring!

BLOC venue was perfect for the baby shower we threw for our son & daughter-in-law. Staff was very accommodating, Albina helped us threw out the whole process & made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you & appreciate the team at the BLOC!

Absolutely stunning venue! This was the location for a family members wedding this past weekend & they did a fantastic job!!! From the set up to just everything, this is an amazing place to have a beautiful wedding. I highly recommend them

Bloc is such a beautiful venue!! My husband and I just got married there this last Sunday and everything went absolutely amazing! Candela, Albina and their team were such a great team to work with. I highly recommend considering them for your wedding or events. They do plenty of Design Days each month where you can see the space and envision your dream day!! You also get to meet amazing vendors there. They have a curated selection of rentals to choose from. It made planning and decision making such a breeze. I hope you can check them out!!

Beautiful venue...ugly staff. Ruined our wedding night by constantly harassing my wife during the event. Staff followed guests around and did not treat us as the "ideal" clients they prefer whatever that means (I'm thinking race). Contract says 24hr block for rental 10am-10am but in reality doors closed at 1am ALTHOUGH advised but another STAFF MEMBER we could stay as long as needed which was 2am due to families not wanting to have small children outside at 2am in a sketchy industrial neighborhood at best. Requested 1000 damage deposit and states it costs them over $250 for vomit cleaning in bathroom and for the extra hour that we were told we could stay as we were cleaning up. Told my wife the vendors we hired hated her although they all gave us their personal numbers and continue to contact us as friends. Staff got into an argument with my wife at the end while saying goodbye to guests.

In reading past reviews it's apparent we have not been the only ones. Just read their rude replies to reviews. Never their fault. Refund was to be within 3-10 days and has not happened. Had to send formal demand letter which they in returned said they are still getting the invoice for the vomit cleaning 10 days later? Yea ok. I honestly believe it's a scam to pocket another 1000. And now are threatening legal action for alleged "rudeness" on my wife's end. I was never even introduced to the staff the day of and the coordinator agreed this is how they "operate". Although there was vomit it doesn't cost $250+ to clean and sure as he'll doesn't give you rights to the rest of the deposit. Claims we tried to scam them for free services when I paid full price and didn't get anything extra. Still only asking for my deposit minus the cleaning but of course I'll have to wait an unknown amount of time if they ever do.

All in all, we are already headed to small claims court and will be contacting better business bureau as well as leaving reviews to make sure people don't fall for the image they portray. Such a beautiful venue to be ruined by amateur and petty staff who will make up stories and accusations. I'm positive this well get a "professional" response from business since they have a spotless reputation.

I wish I wasn't so busy with family at the time with my wedding and all to really take names of the staff who said we can stay "as long as you need" and to verify the rude woman who got into it with my wife.

*OH BTW they have video cameras and watch you during your event that we were unaware of...kinda creepy when they send you screenshots when you didn't know you were being watched extra careful *

And no we weren't a "sketchy" bunch...we had several law enforcement officers/families in the group.

Brides be ready to be told to clean bathrooms and floors in your gown by some pushy lady who listens to private conversations. Creepy.

UPDATE 5-17-2022 - It has now been a month and 8 days since the event and STILL no refund of damage deposit...3-10 days is what is stated in contract but now it's their "policy" that their cleaning services are paid at the end of the month and refunds are mailed instead of instant. So here we are at almost the mid point of the following month and still nothing. In the day of age of Venmo,Zelle etc this is simply done on purpose. Second demand letter will be issued shortly.

Beautiful and spacious venue to accommodate your next event! Albina, the manager, was a pleasure to work with. Communicated clearly what was included in the venue price and what was extra. Big bonus to consider, this place has a lot of things you can rent directly from them, like table settings and linens so you don’t have to go looking elsewhere. They also have a list of other vendors they’ve been working with if you need a recommendation from them. The kitchen is there too, just not for cooking, but if you need to store any food they have a fridge, and large counters for plating etc. Overall, the BLOC was an excellent choice for our company’s anniversary celebration. Clean bathrooms, and extra room where we had a coffee and drinks cart. There was 100 guests attending and it was more than enough space to fit all of us. Great location, plenty of parking, and beautiful indoors. Highly recommended
