Bright Horizons at Inova Fair Oaks has been a wonderful experience for our family and our daughter, who started when she was just over two-years old and stayed for two years. The administration, staff, and teachers have all been so warm and caring throughout the years, especially when my daughter had needed more support during her transitions to each class. Although we've recently had to make our own transition as a family to another school, we can't thank everyone at the Center enough for the nurturing community Edith had grown up in. Highly recommend for families in the area looking for high-quality childcare in a nurturing environment!

Our son has been enrolled at the center since he was in Infants and is now in the Twos program. Every single one of his teachers are warm, nurturing, and so welcoming. They provide developmentally age appropriate activities for the children daily and we love receiving the updates through the app. Our son was receiving occupation and physical therapy but graduated last year and we know that he was receiving so much support from the activities he was engaging in all day at the center. Huge shout out to Ms. Miriam (Center Director) and Ms. Lali (Assistant Director) for providing families with great communication and family events. Ms. Hala, Ms. Sherry, Ms. Jasmin, Ms. Lauren, Ms. Che, Ms. Yasmine, Ms. Jannah, Ms. Iris, Ms. Nevin, and Ms. Megan went above and beyond for our son. The staff at the center are an extension of our family and we will always be grateful to them.

Our family is so happy we found this center. The level of care the teachers provide is amazing and clearly shows because our son gets excited when we mention their names. The school also hosts a good number of events that we even invite our friends to.

Bright Horizons at Fair Oaks was our first experience in childcare in the U.S. My three little kids (5 years old, 2.5 years old, 2.5 months old) had a great time there. I cried to say good bye to their teachers when I had to move them to another center due to our limited financial budget. The director, Ms. Melanie and her management staff take care of the center so well. Whenever we called, they knew exactly what happened to each of our children, giving us advice and updating us frequently. The center is clean and safe. My kids were very happy when they entered their classes every morning and came home big smiles every evening. Special thanks to the teachers at the infant room, Toddler 2 and PreK. They are so amazing and warm-hearted. Ms. Heidi and PK gave me many warm hugs when I was feeling down. I missed them a lot.

I am so thankful to have found this gem of a school. My son is only 10 months old but has multiple severe food allergies. I am that helicopter mom who is constantly worried about their baby but the Center leadership and teachers here are all so patient, understanding, and accommodating. I feel so at peace when I leave my son at school! If you're looking for a high-quality care and education for your child, THIS is the school to bring them to.

Every single time I call to arrange back-up care, the director says they are “full”. She recently told me that they’ll be full into Fall 2018. I understand that the center is also ran as a regular daycare, but I’ve been calling since January of this year for back-up care and they’re still “full”. She always just dismisses me. Why list yourself as an option for backup care when you all are never available? Just remove yourself from the listing if you all are at full capacity because it is misleading. I ended up using the Reston location as an option one day for my child and I loved it. She did too. It was much cleaner and the teachers and the director was awesome. In the future, I definitely wouldn’t mind driving the extra miles to Reston even if there was room at this location.

If I could give them (zero) stars I would, but I cannot. We have an almost 3 year old and looking for a preschool. My wife visited this center on a Friday to get information, the center director was very cold and unwelcoming and told her to come back Monday for an appointment with a teacher. On Monday, my wife called several times and a lady in management told her that she will call her back in 15 minutes and totally ignored her and never called back. My wife had to drive all the way, only to be received with rudeness by the same lady (medium height blonde, works in management). Within the initial 5 minute conversation the same lady shouted at my 3 year old in front of my wife because he wondered off and wanted to press some door button!! Total rudeness blown out of proportion and passive aggressive attitude. The same lady could have told my wife to control my 3 year old instead of being rude. They reluctantly agreed to give my wife a tour and my wife noticed panic and the director rushing to help teachers fix the rooms!!! During the tour my wife was not allowed to ask teachers any questions under the excuse that teachers were busy with kids lunches. During the tour my wife noticed the same medium height blonde lady shouting at one of the kids to wash his hands, instead of using a caring calm positive tone. They then told my wife it would take another 30 minutes in order for any teacher to be available and she was not allowed to wait inside the building with my 3 year old but was told in an authoritative tone to step outside with my 3 year old and sit on one of the benches under the sun and wait for 30 minutes, although there were seats inside in the waiting area. My wife then picked up my son and left for home after feeling sad and insulted at what she had seen. It seems these people really don't care about the business the were given to run, nor expanding the number of children. Passive aggressive attitudes and not responding to phone calls requesting appointments seems to be their business plan for growth!!!!
