This park gives some much needed green to the city. There's a little pond with ducks and other birds. The Veteran's Memorial is well maintained. The pathways are brick and perfect for walking or jogging. Overall a nice place.

Took my dog out for a walk. Nice park, but, the only negative aspect of it is the water pond. It really needs to be cleaned. It's been left untreated and looks horrendous.

Grew up in IV, came back to visit after having been gone for a couple of decades. This park was somewhere we went all the time while growing up. I’m glad to see that they’ve tried hard to keep it up. It’s a pretty park and very large. Paved walk ways, fountains, play area, Little Library box. I enjoyed our time back here.

Even though i live in the next town over. I go to this park every morning. They have an artificial pond where ducks stay. The constant quacking always bring a smile to my face. Of course.. The pond gets dirty and lay out a stench at times but it get cleans occasionally. Anyways despite that.. This is my favorite park in the valley.. Great place to walk.

Playground in the far corner for kids; sidewalk pathway that encircles the entire park; fountain and ponds full of ducks; bathrooms are somewhat run down (no mirrors, missing doors on some stalls); lots of shady grassy areas to rest at; veteran's memorial adjacent to the fountain; tables and new benches scattered throughout the park as well as two ramada areas (the one by the fountain is usually occupied by middle school and high school students and frequented by homeless people). 3 Pokémon Go gyms here as well as various Pokéstops.

Found this great little family park in El Centro. Friendly people of every age visit; running, walking, biking. I enjoyed watching the little ones with their new bikes after Christmas with their Moms and Dads helping them. Here are some pics.

Pond is being cleaned out. I wish Washington D.C. would also drain the swamp. Remember to vote this Nov! Nice park, glad to see it's being maintained.
