Upscale dining experience with reasonable prices. This hidden gem is one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had.
Stopped in for a casual lunch with a girlfriend. We were greeted by a friendly server at the door, who let us choose beautiful seats on the patio.
She was attentive and helpful without being overbearing.
Be sure to ask about the special! And make sure you try their house made desserts.
I thoroughly enjoyed my steak salad. The steak was high quality and perfectly prepared. My friend loved her chicken Parmesan.
The food was high quality and delicious.
In addition to the wonderful food, there are a multitude of classic cocktails with unique twists. Be sure to ask about the house infused beverages. You won’t be disappointed.

I've ate at C. Knights a couple of times, mostly wine and appetizers with friends and were treated amazingly everytime. I recently decided to apply and get a job at C. Knights and my experience has been incredible! My mouth is constantly dropping from all the knowledge and experience they have in their kitchen. As a customer and now as a cook I can fully testify c. Knights is the place to go when you want food that will take your taste buds to places they have never been before. if you want true Italian and a solid steakhouse with all the seafood trimmings, this is the place to go 🙂

My family and I visited the restaurant for the first time last night for my birthday. Wow.. I can’t even express how amazing the food was! My filet was perfect, the sides were amazing, everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our experience. I truly got the VIP treatment from our waiter, Brandon! The owner Chuck even came by to sit and chat. Such a pleasure to meet him and enjoy the food, atmosphere and cocktails. This is my new favorite restaurant, I can’t wait to go back.

Oh my goodness, we absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is always just the best... So friendly, helpful, and personable. And don't even get me started on the food. Everything from hotdogs to filet mignon, escargot to French fries... Truly something for everyone, and it's all some of the best we've ever had. It's our favorite spot for date night or even just for tapas and cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, their menu is delightful, always new things to try and the bartenders are incredible and knowledgeable about all things alcohol. Everytime I'm here, I can't wait to come back.

Awesome local steakhouse! Fantastic addition to the El Dorado Hills Town Center. Great cuts of meat, food quality overall and beautiful presentation. Classic decor/interior, perfect for date night, business meetings or a cocktail before a movie. We'll definitely be back!

Yes I'm here again to celebrate turning 47 again!

I've always had nothing but excellent food and service here; Matt was great and went into great detail to explain each dish available; personally, Matt is one of the best employees I've encountered on my visits here and I hope he stays as he is not only incredibly well versed on any dish you inquire about, he also makes a perfect filthy Martini that exceeds the others I've had that I have reviewed. Add to that, he is quite hilarious and engaging with the customers which is always a plus.

Anyways, the food (see pics) speaks for itself; the Oysters (3 different types) were fresh & chilled perfectly; the crab was perfect, the Filet carpaccio was perfectly seasoned, sliced the right size and just so amazingly soft I'd literally eat that everyday if I could.

My scallops were cooked perfectly, which is actually quite hard to do as they are a delicate food.

The filet was perfect as usual (I've reviewed this place previously in 2023) and one of the main reasons I come here, as this restaurant is really the only place that I prefer a filet over my own cooking one at home.

The mushroom saute had a mix of seasonings that went well; the spinach and cheese dish was a nice break from the norm, definitely a comfort food and would be great with steak or chicken.

Matt was again so nice and brought out this amazing fig dessert that was a perfect palatable finish to such an amazing dinner with my amazing friend

Matt also brought me out my favorite, fresh berries with whip cream to celebrate my 47th birthday which I've been consistently celebrating for a few weeks now😁‍

Really, if you want amazing food and impeccable service by a staff that is very engaging and customer oriented, I cannot recommend this place enough; the filet alone is a reason to come here.

The place is totally overrated and wayyyyy over priced. It's a small establishment, the food is good but nothing that can't be made at home. The drinks were good but not worth $21 a piece. We each got one drink between the 4 of us, I think that alone was about 100.00. The service is mediocre, we received our food after a couple that came in way after us, which wasnt cool but it was the whole experience that
made us conclude, there nothing special about the place. When the bill arrived I almost had a heart attack, at that point I felt ripped off. We all felt the same and we won't be going back. If your looking for a good steakhouse that has normal prices, skip this one and go elsewhere. EDH has a lot of low quality high priced restaurants, they put lipstick on a pig and call it gold. Worst place for restaurants, Not all of course but it's a general consistency. Go to old folsom, sutters great, normal prices and a great atmosphere. Or if u want the price tag just go to Mortons.
