My kids have taken classes at Cal Color Academy for the last 2 years. They always look forward to class and enjoy the projects. The teachers here are very nice and experienced with kids. They made learning and perfecting art so much fun!

Both of my kids started with Teacher Katy and the younger one is still in her class. She teaches them great skills and also inspires them to keep improving. She is very patient with my high energy 6 year old.

My older one has moved on to Teacher Bethany’s class this year and is thoroughly enjoying the more complex art projects.

The teachers here are amazing and truly care. The whole program/academy is very organized. We highly recommend this place!

Our daughter started at CalColor a couple years ago, doing digital art. She had an amazing teacher, Ms. Serena, who was fun and engaging but also talented and so caring. Now she has Mr. Joseph, who is great too. It’s not cheap, so if our daughter wasn’t so passionate about art, we would have second thoughts. It seems worth it for the young aspiring artist, but some promotions would help. Each class is two hours too, so doing make ups can be tough.

Overall, we’re enjoying the experience and recommend CalColor to all our friends and family.

One of the standout aspects of CalColor is the quality of their teaching staff. My daughter was fortunate to be part of Mr. Alvin's elite class, where she learned advanced techniques and developed her unique artistic voice. Later, she joined Mr. Sean's sketch class, which further honed her skills and deepened her understanding of sketching and composition. Recently, she started exploring digital painting with Ms. Niko, and it's amazing to see her embrace this new medium with enthusiasm.

The curriculum at CalColor is well-structured yet flexible enough to adapt to each child's progress and interests. The instructors not only focus on technical skills but also encourage creativity and self-expression, which has been crucial in keeping my daughter engaged and motivated.

I would highly recommend CalColor to any parent looking for a place where their child can explore and excel in art.

Cal color is a great place to learn art techniques and create amazing pieces of art. They offer summer programs which I love to attend and learn so much from. I have loved the summer camps since I was 10 and Cal Color was established. These summer camps include a lot of fun time to draw, as well as breaks where kids can play in the local park. At the end of each camp is a showcase where kids can show their parents the amazing art that they made. The teachers like Mr. Alvin, Ms. Connie, and Ms. Hoai -My, and many many more make the summer camps super fun, engaging, and exciting. I have created many pieces during these camps that have won many awards for the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition that Cal Color helps students participate in.
