I came here to ask a question, and the guy at the front was helpful with getting me the correct information. Here is why I give them one star.

I did not like how he questioned me after I had asked him for information on who to contact for an issue I witnessed/experienced. After he gave me a sticky note with the correct address/number I needed, he asked what I do for a living, and asked if I was on medication because my “pupils [are] very large”. I have very light colored eyes, which means my pupils are more noticeable than those with darker eyes, and the CHP building was dimly lit, of course my pupils will appear larger. Because they probably were, and with light eyes it’s more noticeable. His pupils were probably just as large as mine. Although I appreciate his help, I don’t appreciate him trying to intimidate me. I felt obligated to tell him that I was on Prozac, an anti depressant. He proceeded to look shocked as if you can not drive on Prozac (you absolutely can drive on this medication), and then lectured me about driving on different medications and DUIs. This was all in front of someone who was in the lobby waiting. I honestly felt attacked just for trying to address a problem that may harm other people… this happened on Thursday July 6, 2023 around 1115 hrs. I went out to my truck afterwards to type this and to take a picture of my pupils, which looked completely normal. This is a great example of why people don’t like law enforcement.

Just a normal day of all cops being bad (;

Edit: after calling and verifying, the officer who i interacted with is Officer Rivera. He said that he’s transferring to another place.

Thank you on today 10-17-2023 for having drivers appreciation. I didn’t get to stop due to tight time margin but it meant a lot to see some support in a industry that rarely gives out any. I pass by almost daily but wanted again to say Thank You!!!

Officer Joshua Duran at the Beaumont CHP location is a racist. I was hit by an 18 wheeler semi truck in a road rage incident. When CHP was called to the scene, Joshua reported that a paid off 2021 sedan drove into a moving truck and the semi truck was able to magically stop in enough time to only scrape the back of the vehicle with no internal damage. Joshua took the caucasian mans statement over an African American woman’s despite all evidence reflecting the truck colliding with my sedan. To that I say what goes around always comes back around! Corruption and racism in the legal system is still very much so prevalent today. Officers such as Duran give law enforcement a terrible name. Respect to all my officer with pure intentions and hearts of gold protecting our communities. I will not allow officers such as Duran ruin your acts of bravery and honor.

Officer d blanco is corrupt lied on my accident report/ the sergeants are corrupt also especially the short fat Latino one/ just remember you’ll have your bad day one day when something happens to you or somebody you love / judgement don’t skip anybody! You may follow man-made laws, but you broke God’s law and judgment is upon you

When they don’t like somebody they’ll lie on them, and they all stick together because they all do the same thing to people. I’ve had respectable encounters with other officers in different places, but these people are something else

Officer was very professional in explaining to me, on how to deal with eradic truck drivers. These heavy vehicles are incentivised by the mile. Obviously, these companies are putting our lives at risk. Increasing their pay based on how fast they go is absurd, and should be illegal. I will now be calling 911 to deal with these unsafe, heavy load drivers.

I went there to get my new car seat installed,I was told by the old lady at the front that, that ONE officer wasn't there. I explained that I lived an hour away and if I could please make an appointment but the old crone kept repeating herself saying that on Thursdays you don't need an appointment but also that the officer also has a job so there was no certainty that I would catch him not busy. I kept asking to make an appointment but she kept repeating herself about no appointment was needed for Thursdays... long story short, if this ladies job is to be of service to the public, SHE FAILED. I'm 100% Disabled Combat Veteran and now I have no way of knowing that I'm correctly installing my 11 month old babies car seat.
