I am ready to talk to whoever’s responsible about this! I am being taught about ethics in this university, about $200 each student pays a semester only to waste 15-20 minutes looking for parking and if a parking is found and a miracle happened about 50% chance of accident because of how small the parking is! Please this is not just a complaint this is to attract your attention that a problem is here and should be resolved!

Horrible school. I should not have even gone the first day after how bad orientation was. Madison Bradley, one of the orientation leaders, was rude and impatient the whole time she had an angry face and even yelled at me near the end cause I was deciding something. I understand there's days where you might not be in the mood, but as an orientation leader, she left a bad impression of the school. 8 hours of awkward orientation and disrespectful behavior. Also, everyone was quiet and nice, so I don't know why she had an attitude so unprofessional of her.

Everyone in my group stopped asking questions because she'd answer in an annoyed tone. I had orientation in high school and community college. I seriously can't believe a high school orientation leader was more professional and helpful than a college orientation leader. What a joke!

The parking sucks and I tried to use public transportation but really unreliable for being a commuter school it really needs more parking and maybe have a train station or a travel bus that goes to other cities near the campus. The counselors don't care and were unhelpful. Also, i had two meetings canceled, and one of the counselors was mad and was passive agressive because i wanted to change my major. Also, what's up with every class having a group project worth half your grade? Are professors this lazy now? I don't want to leave my grade in the fate of random group members.

Really hated my first month here. I honestly dropped the school. I will be attending a better university, another year. There's a reason why it's so high in acceptance that they only want your money. The current president increasing prices proves this. Please go somewhere else this college is clearly for people living in the city if you want a real college experience and professional staff then don't go to this one. what a waste of my time.

One of the many, proud students who used to go to Sac State; graduated in the fall of 2019 (and luckily before Covid-19 told everyone to screw off).

I was trying to get into Graphic Design but I had no money. So I opted instead for a BA in Studio Art Methods (New Media Focus). I was taking Multicultural Studies on the side.

Everything is expensive, some of the faculty have personality issues, the few Alt-Right people kept "yelling theater in a crowded fire house;" the school's transit system doesn't go far enough, and some of the buildings had issues with rain water coming through the roofs.

But I have no regrets. The area's beautiful, we're able to get help with food and studies, the learning of other cultures was "colorful" in a positive way, and most of the faculty are pretty awesome. It's not UC Davis, but I highly recommend taking your chances here.

Cool campus to visit. Has a very woodsy vibe to it in the fact that there are tons of trees! Greek life is pretty much the main social scene. Without that it's hard to get to know a lot of people.

The president here is pro segregation and causes traffic jams by refusing to let pd and security manage intersections during busy times. Racists will love this campus as it continues to grow more segregated.

I attended Sac State for my BA in Literature. I focused mostly on 20th Century American Lit but my head was crammed full of other knowledge in the short time I was there. I read poetry and Anthropology texts. I watched squirrels running around stealing Students snacks. A good school, very nice campus. I wish I had stayed longer and coninued learning, Sac State provided a challenge and I grew the most here in a short time.

I got my bachelors from here. Great campus, great location, mostly great teachers. I wouldn’t recommend winter or summer courses since financial aid does not disperse for that. Other than that, I found the atmosphere enlightening, inclusive, and respectful.
