Absolutely the best place to go in San Diego if you’re suffering from any type of pain. I’ve been going in here for a few months now and I feel way way better than I have ever did going to any traditional Dr that wants to over medicate and use surgery. Amazing staff, amazing Dr Harper thanks for helping me recover from my sciatic pain. Truly a magician.

​This review is overdue. I've been going to Calispine regularly for about 5 months. I've experienced significant improvement in my chronic neck pain and 100% resolution of shoulder and hip issues that came up while I've been under Dr. Josh's care. As a bonus, the shoulder exercises he recommended improved my strength and performance as a very active mom who does yoga, barre, and dabbles with rock climbing and parkour. Overall the office vibe is both professional and soothing, Madi is awesome and Dr. Josh is very thorough and knowledgeable. Every visit is different as he uses hands-on, interactive diagnostic techniques and a wide range of modalities to treat the spine and nervous system, unlike the cookie-cutter approach I've experienced elsewhere. Also unlike many other chiropractors, his goal isn't to give you temporary relief and keep you coming back for regular adjustments, rather he wants to discover the root causes of your pain and dysfunction and engage you to actively participate in home exercises and movements that will correct the issues underlying your concerns.

After the onset of a barrage of strange symptoms 6 months ago that affected my sleep tremendously and multiple doctors and specialists could not really figure out why or point me in the right directions from a care perspective, I called my cousin who is a chiropractor in Chicago and he did a search and found Calispine and said go see Dr Harper right away. So I did. Madi got me in the next day for a comprehensive evaluation with Dr Harper plus a 15 minute call with him in which he generously gave me nearly 25 minutes of his time listening to my situation. He's now reviewed all my MRI's and after the 2nd visit made a very detailed care plan even being mindful of my budget (after being burned hard by other practitioners who over charged and never helped!). Dr Harper is NO JOKE, he understands the gut-brain connection to a great level of detail. Every visit when I say what's bothering me he doesn't antagonize me or question me or get on my case, he instead reviews what I'm doing to help the situation, what works, and how we can do things better. His service includes physical therapy as well. Not only that he recommended things I never thought of like the fitness and sleep tracking, gut repair options, nutritional balance recommendations, and he uses multiple things not just adjustments. He is very attentive to each patient from a genuine standpoint, he doesn't hustle patients in and out. Also his team Madisyn is phenomenal and caring, and his wife Megan and daughter are absolutely lovely and genuine too. They all want patients to be well and living an optimal life. My only regret is the multiple chiropractors I spent money on before finding Dr Harper! Thank you Dr Harper for really being authentic everyday in your work ethic!

Called and set up an apt less than a week out. This place spamed my eamil and text messages with multiple messages saying the same thing all reminders of the apt i had just set up. I drive 4.5 hrs and arrived at 9 am as their website says they are open. The attendant didn't arrive until 930ish where she informed me they dont open till 10 becuase some one had a baby. She hands me a mac to fill out some form with general health questions on it. I dont know how to use this and while trying to fill out this form it went to many pages being open at once. Very frusterating. I just walked out and sat in my vehicle for 30 min until 10 when josh arrived. The dpor was still locked so ibhad to go back to get my phone and call. When he picks up the phone he notifies me that he has canceled my apt. I drove 4.5 hrs to get help for my spine. Im in constant pain all the time. Im 100 disabled combat veteran. This guy spammed my inboxes, his secretary tried to get me to do her job instead of her juwt asking me questions and filling out the form and then cancels my apt. Just wow for customer service. I would bot recomend doing anything at this place

Amazing! Been going to Dr H for a few years now ever since I had an emergency and literally couldn’t move. His lovely wife called back instantly and made accommodations to see me instantly and was able to move my neck again after one session. If you want incredible service from amazing doctor and staff then this is the place to go.

PS. Although Dr H is awesome what really sealed the deal and made me a patient for life WAS THEIR PUPPY!!! She’s the best!!

I’ve been in a lot of pain for 18+ months where my arms ache and are weak. I’ve been everywhere looking for people who can stop the pain and move me toward recovery and Dr Harper is one of the very few who do. His office uses many modalities such as laser and various electrical stim devices in addition to the actual bodywork that Dr Harper provides. My half hour appointments over the last 3 months were often longer as Dr Harper and his staff dedicated themselves to my care and lessened my pain. The office works efficiently and cheerfully. Definitely recommend

Josh, his wife Meagan, and the team are amazing. I’ve done decompress for my cervical spine and it helped tremendously! I also come in for regular tune ups with Josh and am so appreciative of his kindness and attention to detail.
