Cal Regional. This is a very good place to attend an online class for me while working full time. I love the accelerated program, because I don't have to attend the whole regular program as what other vocational school offer. All needed articles in the program was provided. The instructor is super great. Ms. Nina, went above and beyond, making that her student will pass the state exam. She was very patient and even taught us the deep breathing technique a day before the exam, so we can relax. 🙂 She provided all the necessary links and videos where you can add more knowledge to learning program. You just have to be on top of the self-paced learning.

They have payment plan or pay in full which is really helpful for student in a budget.

And also, the management staff was very helpful during my enrollment.

I enjoyed the experience and learned even more than anticipated. The class was accelerated so not for the faint hearted. Our instructors were hands on in lab and demonstrated proper techniques helping us all to be work ready on day one. Ms. Julie and Ms. Maria bring their experience to the students with enthusiasm and expertise. I would highly recommend this course to future students, but more importantly that employers look to this certification as a resource for qualified future employees.

I participated in the Medical Billing and Coding program at Cal Regional. Initially, I lacked confidence, but my instructor, Tonia Phipps, completely transformed my learning experience. Her dedication, encouragement, and unwavering support made a profound impact on me.

Ms. Phipps goes above and beyond for her students, making herself available day and night, even offering tutoring outside of office hours. She is not only a knowledgeable nurse, teacher, and author but also highly certified in multiple medical fields. I just want to give a HUGE thanks Ms. Nina Thomas! Throughout the entire course she was very helpful and gave great tips! I had a great experience learning and I don't think I could've done a better job without her help. The way she gave explanations on what to expect and how much information we would be digesting was a little overwhelming because of how fast paced the class was but if you participate and do assignments when they're due then it should be no problem. It was obvious that she has a passion to help others, everyone included in the class because she wanted us to pass. I absolutely recommend taking this EKG course because it was a great experience, and I can't wait to put my new knowledge into practice!

I recently completed the Billing & Coding Specialist class offered by CALRegional taught by Ms. Tonia Phipps, and it was the greatest decision I've made for myself. 11 weeks went by extremely quickly because of how Ms. T made the class so exciting and engaging! It was a lot to learn in a short amount of time, but Ms. T makes sure to cover ALL topics you would need to know to pass the exam, and makes it fun! I just took the EKG course and Ms. Nina was the instructor...she was amazing!!! When I tell you, you take in A LOT of important information during this fast paced course, she made attending class fun and made sure we really knew the information we were taking in. I have test anxiety and the National Exam is today, but I am going into it very confidently because of her!

Update: Just took the exam and nailed it! I would not have made it without Nina's great teachings and knowledge.

This was a very pleasant experience. The ease of the course and Miss Tonia was a very engaging instructor. She simplified lessons, using quiz games for learning. I feel 100% more confident in my knowledge now than when I first began, with zero knowledge in the medical billing and coding field to knowing medical terminology and insurance billing now. Can't wait to see what the future holds!
