Solid and mature church with uncertain future. This was the HQ of the Calvary churches until the organization sadly split into 2 (Calvary Chapel Association and Calvary Chapel Global Network) over some differences. I couldn't find much details to the reasons. I just visited once because Pastor Brian Brodersen does excellent teaching through Back To Basics podcast. He is a truly gifted teacher like Chuck Swindoll. Following the split, the church is now only half full and seems many have deserted CCGN because only Brian's son, Char, helps out on teaching. I don't know what caused the split but I wish both sides would reconcile and find a common ground. Splitting of churches is giving into Satan's primary agenda. "I think" this location needs a spiritual revival among the congregation and a renewed focus and directions communicated by their leadership. I hope they will survive the messy breakup and get back to basics of being the Salt and Light of the community. I would like to ask all Christians to pray for reconciliation, healing and revival of all churches, including Calvary churches.

This was my home church for over 30 years. This particular location; church has imploded and collapsed due to a massive leadership change. Just don’t go there anymore… Look for Calvary Chapel CCA or Calvary Chapel Association churches for a more “authentic” experience…. They no longer teach or believe in the ENTIRE bible…

Calvary Chapel Church,located in Santa Ana,California is a great place to listen and learn about God,the bible and the salvation of The Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
They teach the word from the bible and is a great teaching ministry as well.
Family friendly,open to everyone who would like to learn and worship with like minded people who desire to learn more about The Lord Jesus Christ.

WHOA ! Where to begin...I Thank God 1st for sending the Holy Spirit into my Jail cell at Orange County Jail, July 7th, 1991to show me His Son Jesus Christ and knowing that I would be at the end of my self centered decent into hell and finally willing to accept His free offer of forgiveness for my sin of unbelief. Released !!! the very next morning, I called my sister who attended CCCM and relayed what had happened to me and she invited me to go with her the next Sunday, where God introduced me to Pastor Chuck Smith who I sat under every Sunday learning the Word of God, as well as numerous mid-week Bible's studies, Easter, Christmas, Men's Conferences, Murrieta work crews,etc...for 23 years until Chuck moved home to Heaven. I am a flawed human being who is being sanctified by God through being in the Word, in prayer and fellowship from the place where God planted me to become the man that He has called me to be, here at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa that is filled with sinners like me who do and don't avail themselves of God's abundant blessings here! Trust God, lose your stinking thinking, listen to the guideing of your heart for Him and straighten out your crooked path while you enjoy the abundant Life of joy eternal while being strengthened to resist the acusations of the evil one who will try to steal your peace. I thank God again and again for Calvary Chapel, my home church!
