Cons: you have to pay... randomly. And there are no discounts for residents of the area. If you're gonna have to pay, I expect something like a routine law enforcement check in. Never seen one here. Ever. That being said, people bring their bikes, dogs (both prohibted) and there are some suspect fisherman with multiple poles that likely do not have fishing licenses at all.
Also, they started this disc golf trend that clogs up the parking lot.
Pros: a nicely groomed 1.1 mile track around the lake. Tennis courts. Playground. Restrooms. They even opened the snack bar back up to cater to the disc golfers. All kinds of wildlife.
It's nice but the rules are like: yeah we have rules, but nobody is gonna supervise you to follow them.

I go here all the time mostly to walk and play disc golf. The place is popular but not overcrowded. It does cost $3 to enter, unless you have an $85 annual pass. The bird life here and other wildlife is quite exceptional for an suburban setting.

A great asset to the community that the parks department works hard at keeping up. Activities here also include, running (1 mile track around the lake), picnicking, tennis, child playground, pickle ball, BBQ, parties (there is a gazebo). There is a small disc golf shop that sells hundreds of discs, and light snacks, like ice cream, cold drinks, coffee and a few sundry items.

The disc golf course is quite popular. So take note you may be waiting especially on weekends.

This is an ideal local park for a peaceful morning walk, just a mile around the beautiful lake on a smooth path, with trees, reeds, fountains, swans, ducks, turtles. There's supposed to be a parking fee but the kiosk has always been closed in the year ive been visiting. The disk golf course looks top notch, there are usually a couple groups playing.

With plenty of space to enjoy an outing with a small or large group this is a nice place to sit an enjoy the view of the lake near the park. Events happen alot here an these pictures were taken on Halloween day. It was an event for parents bring their kiddos to enjoy from the bouncy house to taking a small pumpkin to decor at home. Food trucks were also there. Each table had sorted candy for the kiddos to enjoy an music to dance. All ages were there too. Parking at these events can get full so go early.Worth coming to events at this park.

Beautiful park! Can swim, fish, area for kids to play, BBQ & paddle board. There's a path that goes around the whole lake. It's a mile. Beautiful & highly recommended. Cost $3 for residents, $5 for non residents.

Love this lake. Especially during the spring time because of all the nesting birds. You also get to see the bird families grow up. The lake is 1 mile. Perfect for families events. They have little grills and picnic tables. There is also a watering hole to swim in starting around memorial day. For the kiddos there is a playground. The park also has tennis courts.

Have to pay for parking a car.

Negatives:
Lots of poop due to all the geese

Have to pay to walk around the lake during late spring/summer

Very nice place!! This is a personal favorite spot for fishing! Great place also for barbecues and parties.

For anglers, there's tons of fish in the lake including Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Trout, and Bluegill.?
