I used to go to the fortuna location but ever since it moved and lost a certain employee the environment changed it no longer feels welcoming and like I don't belong or am wanted there it really suck because I used to go there to get cards have a good chat and talk about new strategies to challenge my self but now it seems I need to find a new shop note the fortuna location was wizards of the coast and merged with card board castle

I didn't bother to spend any money at this train wreck of a card shop. There were stains all over the carpet. It smelt like a nursing home. I was just checking it out and got so turned off by the environment, I left.

I REALLY LIKED THEIR ORGANIZATION OF SINGLE CARDS. There was a huge selection, and I found quite a few I had been looking for. They also carry a brand of 12 slot card binders in a format that matches my current binders and in colors, unavailable from my normal source. Looks like they have a robust play group, which I wish I had been able to participate with, but did not plan ahead.

5 stars for five reasons:
-Great selection of singles, going back to thyne olden days of magic.
-Great pricing: very competitive pricing, both for selling and buy list. Every transaction I’ve had here feels extremely fair and reasonable.
-Wide breadth of formats being played there. If it’s a real Mtg format, chances are there will be an event for it in the near future. Otherwise the shop is great at receiving ideas & feedback on what events to host.
-You can email the shop a list of cards to purchase and they’ll have it ready for pickup the same day.
-Pedro is the best card store owner/operator around. Many have tried to be like him, but there can only be one!

Unprofessional and discriminatory service. My girlfriend asked an employee/owner buy a set of MTG cards and was using a different app to them. The employee took on a scolding tone and lectured her why their preferred app and method was superior and that they would only accept her buy list in that format “Just this once” like they were making an exception for an unruly child. I had done the same thing to the same employee only a few weeks before and was met with a smile and genuinely helpful advice.

Decent place but they are never truly open on time. Had to wait almost 2 hours to be let in after they "opened" not sure if you need to do better on attendance or just post later store hours

This place is awesome! I deliver to this place at least once a week. The management is great! They have a good selection of cards you that you may be looking for. Whether it is magic or pokemon. They got it. They are also open late, taking into account a lot of places in town close early. Lastly, It's a great place for card players to hang out.

It's pretty good, I highly recommend the red sauce over the green sauce, but their burritos are phenomenal!
..jokes aside it's a great card game and D&D store, very close second in my experience of probably 15-20 stores in California. Jimmy, Matt, and Pedro are all great people.

Their prices on most product is fine, and it's especially fine considering this is a smaller area. I'd still rather pay a little more and buy a box or singles in person than online. 🙂

Thanks guys!
