My daughter and I drove from Elk Grove to Roseville to attend the Carnegie Museum Leprechaun Scavenger Hunt today. This beautiful little museum built in 1912 is such a gem. The staff here are such gracious and sweet women. They kept all the kids excited to learn about history and entertained with such a inviting environment. My daughter and I enjoyed our time and look forward to going to the next event on the second Saturday of each month.

Small museum! 5$ donation box at entrance! Miniature railroad exhibit of a huge train wreck that happened the year I was born! I lived very nearby! Neat history! Scavenger hunt was cute and fun!

Just visited with a small group of family to see the release of their Mexican American history in Roseville. Not a lot of people know about the true history of Mexicans who fled to Roseville for a better life & made something of themselves. My grandparents who worked side by side with Saint Rose Church & their brothers & and sisters endeavors, along with many other families, including the Carmelitas Restaurant family & the Tortilla Factory Restaurant family, now have a nice spot in this museum for future generations to see. Thank you, Fran & the other volunteers here who worked endlessly to make this happen!
