I broke down seventeen miles east of clay's shop.

He dropped everything
came and picked me up, towed my bike back to his shop and patched it since he did not have the right size tire.

He was great to be around and did a great job for a great price!

The third day of a three week motorcycle trip and the bike suddenly began running poorly. Rolled into CCMS and Clay started working on the bike almost immediately. After removing the carburetor and cleaning it, he had me back on the road in a about 4 hours. Yeah, the carburetor was kind of a mess. Now the bike runs better than it ever has. I can honestly say that hanging out with Clay, while he worked on my bike, is going to be one of the highlights of my trip. Can’t recommend Clay at CCMS enough.

Clay is the most genuine bike mechanic that I have met in all my years of riding. He literally stopped what he was doing to patch my front tire so I could get back on the road. I could tell from his stories that he truly enjoys working on bikes and helping people. His pricing is very reasonable and his personality is priceless. Thanks again Clay!!! You are the man.

Couldn't ask for a better place to break down on a motorcycle than Tucumcari. Clay's a master with the jokes and he's not too bad with motorcycles either. Leave it up to Clay to get you back on the road and to give you a story to remember. Almost go as far to say that I'm glad I got that flat tire. Say hey to Axel for me when you stop by. Was stranded on a long motorcycle trip because of spoked rim issue (probably caused by riding for 8 hours in 105F Texas heat). My options seemed to be to lose many days out of my vacation, and spend a lot of money by either u-hauling my bike somewhere (and local uhaul did not have trucks available that day) or flying home and bringing a trailer to pick it up.

Clay found time to work on my bike the same day I contacted him, even though he seems to have many ongoing work projects. He was easy to work with, and seemed to really care that his clients make it to their destination.

He made a repair with limited parts that can be sourced the same day, was extremely thorough (I had a chance to see him working while waiting in the shop). Great experience, bike was ready to go at 2pm and I made it to my destination (Colorado)

Pulled into town with transmission shifter issues on my ‘98 FLHR. Clay was able to diagnose the problem, a worn bolt on the transmission shifter lever. After sending my riding partner all over town to every parts and hardware store in search of the correct size bolt, with no luck, Clay took the bolt off of his own ride to get me back out on the road. What a totally awesome guy, thanks Clay. It was a truly wonderful trip.

Clay saved my rear and I am beyond grateful to of found him. I’m making my way from Phoenix, AZ to Savannah, GA. Went to stop for the night and noticed a hefty clunk. Next day I found CCMS, gave them a ring. Since all my belongings were on my bike he came and picked them up, I followed him to shop. Knowledgeable, hilarious, personable, great guy. Very involved in his community. The man has everything you need. Oil, tires, bearings, batteries. If you’re going through Route 66 or passing down I-40 and have any issues. He’s the man to call. HIGHLY SUGGEST CCMS
