Very nice walkway, except for a man on a microphone at his house. We ignored him, but it was still very annoying. I was walking with a friend so I felt safe.

I only stopped here quickly on a bike ride on the Pacific Electric Trail. This park is very nice with multiple soccer / football fields with artificial grass, a big playground for kids, good bathrooms, and water.

No throwing circles or shot put area, BUT plenty of pavement space around the football field to throw shot put from and the turf makes for a perfect landing pad for the heavy iron Shot. unlike sand which is dirty this turf is clean and dry! I recommend to Shot Putters and Discus throwers go here🙏

Very basic. For being "new" not as modern or impressive. I can tell they spent minimal on the kids areas. It's mostly s sports field so if that's what you're looking that's great. There needs to be more space especially for the for the hot summer days when a lot of us parents have the actual time go to the park during the non busy hours. It was my first time here, while we the kids were playing we were asked to move so that they could clean up the area. I have next seen this happen at any other park. Nor was the actual area really dirty. As parents with multiple kids there is only certain times we can go to the park. We wanted to go when it wasn't too hot and too populated. We were going to be going home shortly anyhow so that just kinda rushed our last moments. We ended up going to the bleachers which thankfully have shade. So he had a snack before we left. I'm grateful they try to keep it clean... However what really needed to get cleaned was the bleachers. They were dirty. Next time I'll take pictures... I'm sure that area gets used quite frequently and not even in appropriate manners based on how dirty they looked. Those need to be better maintained. It's Fontana, there is wind, no matter how much you "blow" it's not going to stay clean very long especially because it was a very small amount of dirt. It wasn't even very dirty so why keep the kids from playing when it's not really dirty. They really need to do a walk through and identify the areas that actually need cleaning the most and focus on those especially if people are present. Most parks need more shady areas and trees with the heat and the wonderful warehouses/trucks polluting our air we need as much nature as possible. I'm grateful for the space and options; definitely not my favorite park when my youngest is a Kindergartner and can't do much on the fields when the bigger kids or games take over. I heard the bathrooms are clean...which they should be considering how new the park is.
