Centrl Office has been a great experience in work environment. If you’re looking for a new work space in downtown make sure you talk to Joseph. He is very knowledgeable and has provided the highest quality of service around. It’s refreshing to see people invested in their clients and yours too! If you haven’t stopped by yet it’s definitely worth checking out.

I was underwhelmed with my first experience at Centrl Office yesterday (I bought a coworking day pass, so I can’t speak to the private offices which looked nice). Reason: the coworking area wasn’t conducive to focused work.

First, there was elevator music playing, which made me feel like I was working on a bench at the mall. At minimum I would have preferred the music to be turned down more. Maybe some white noise instead?

Second, the chairs in the coworking area were very uncomfortable. I switched sitting positions frequently but by the end of the day my back hurt. For comparison, I can sit on the chairs at Outlet Coworking all day without complaints.

Thirdly, there was a lot of noise. A person at my table had a 3-hour Zoom meeting, some of it in constant dialogue with someone, and it made it very hard to focus. Down the hall there were quiet booths for that purpose, but there was no one to oversee that and no indication for the worker that those were available or expected. Later I went up to the 3rd floor to try to get some quiet… and there were people having calls in the common areas there as well! The 3rd floor also has quiet booths, but again there wasn’t any sense of oversight to ensure that the common areas stayed quiet. The last hour of the day involved overhearing a loud conversation between two workers in the 2nd floor coworking area.

Lastly, I had a confusing introduction to Centrl. I had purchased a day pass online 2 days before and received instructions on how to get to the space. When I came off the elevator at the 2nd floor, there was no front desk, seemingly no one in charge who I could ask questions or get oriented from. Same thing when I went to the 3rd floor. I finally called Centrl and got someone who answered my questions.

The feel of the space was great — minimalist, but tastefully and warmly done.

In summary, I probably won’t return to Centrl when I want to cowork. It felt undermanaged, especially with having no one present to answer questions or to encourage loud talkers to move to a designated space for conversations.

I really enjoy working here. The drip coffee up here is on point, love having access to a small kitchen area and copier/printer. There’s lots of natural light and overall quiet, distraction-free working environment

This is such a cool concept & is exactly what's needed for start up companies. There's all different office sizes, conference rooms, telephone booths, & common work areas. They have a kitchen, kitchenette, coffee, & all the utensils & plates that you need. They also provide lunch every other week or so. Great place & fun atmosphere. Check them out if you're looking for office space.

I work as a loan officer and primarily work from my home. Now with how nice having a home office is, it can be tough when I need to meet with clients for a signing or if I need to have a business meeting with my team. I found Centrl Office downtown is the best of both worlds. It gives me a great professional work space for when I do need an office location to go to with a client or even if I just need to get out of the house and focus a bit. But it also does not leave me tied to a huge overhead of an office building and allows me to set up a membership of what fits my needs for my work, my team, and my life. Great concept and love that I found Centrl Office downtown Sac!

Fantastic co-working space in a central spot in Downtown Sacramento. The staff makes you feel welcome from the start. The community is excellent. I greatly enjoyed my time working at this space and I would highly recommend it to any person or company in need of an office.

The shared workspace concept is not new but it’s obvious that CENTRL is committed to doing it right.
No heavy branding plastered all over the walls which makes working out of this space a seamless compliment to your own business profile for meeting with Clients or even for just creating your own workspace.

The fit and finish of the building are noticeable and will compliment anything you’re trying to do in this space. Great common area work spaces with super interesting natural light on the 2nd floor.
You feel productive just stepping foot into the space.

Ps- check out the amazing rooftop event space if you get a chance.
This building, its vibe and both the people running it along with the people behind this incredible restoration are what we need in downtown Sacramento.

I’ve used other office space at the Portland locations, but this space in Sacramento truly was perfect. The cleanliness, efficient layout, and ease of use makes this a great space to work in. The office space provided a comforting amount of privacy. The shared amenities were top notch and above industry standard. I look forward to coming back later this week.
