A work in progress, this shows one each of the Century Series of jet fighters i.e. F-100 to F-106
Whilst the rest of the museums aircraft are inaccessible on base, erection of the building to house them next to here, had started, with the steel framework in place.
Photography was no problem.

Century Circle is a privately funded historical aircraft display located just outside of the West entrance to historic Edwards Air Force Base and the associated United States Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC). It is within the Mojave Desert of California, about 100 miles north of Los Angeles. The location is called 'Century Circle' because the primary aircraft displayed are pioneering supersonic jet fighters of the 1950's, including the F-100 through the F-106. All aircraft are maintained in good condition. Of note is the building under construction in the background of the photo. This will be the new museum building with interior exhibits. It is being completed slowly. Aircraft history buffs will enjoy this display tremendously, but the reason I rate it with 4 stars, not 5, is twofold. First, it will offer much more after the museum building is completed. Second, it is a fairly remote location with nothing else around it for many miles. 99% of people who don't live in the area will have to travel a long way to get there. For most people, the best opportunity to see this display will be as they are passing through the area, either on their way to the northern mountains or Los Angeles to the south. The AFFTC itself is closed to the public, so there is no point in venturing beyond where these aircraft are located. There is currently no fee to visit.

Can get busy there, but as long as you sign in and listen for your name it still goes quickly. Very easy.

This display is absolutely awesome, it's really cool to see so much history and technology displayed for the public to see. Don't go off of the sidewalk and don't take pictures of the base. It looks like they're building a museum right beside it, which I am sure will be incredible

Century Circle is the only thing available to the general public.
I should have read the reviews, instead of just pictures. You need to be military-affiliated somehow to get in. Looks like something is being built at the entrance though…will be back for that.
Nice drive though, had all my windows down.
