Small but solid museum. Part, most of it, is about the history of Chandler with some great displays about the people and businesses that started and helped grow the local community. The other side is rotating exhibits. We saw a photo collection about Alzheimer's. Free admission so I bought something from the gift shop to help support them. Recommended.

Fun way to kill an hour or two during the hot summer. Interesting history on Chandler, and completely free.

The only real knock against the place is the lack of diversity from an exhibits perspective. They lean heavy on photographs of Chandler, but dont actually have much memorabilia to back the stories (one of their best pieces, an old truck owned by Doctor Chandler, was definitely worth the stop though).

We love visiting the Chandler Museum especially for the toddler/preschool age classes they offer (ArtTots and C-Town). Mary Jean and Shonda who lead the classes are absolutely wonderful! They work so well with the kids and assisting with the activities. They set up really fun activities in a very clean environment. The kids can socialize while having fun playing with different stations that are set up. It’s a class we look forward to attending each week.

I just recently took my family on a Saturday morning for a free educational experience. We viewed the history of the
Dust Bowl Migrants in Chandler which runs from March 8, 2022 - Aug. 13, 2023. It was very cultural and community focused and teaches you some facts that weren't always covered in school. You really only need an hour to go over every exhibit and their is a scavenger hunt that the kids enjoy.

Very nice staff and very helpful when you walk in the entrance. They have a beautiful display of the dust bowl images in chandler from the 30s. I especially liked the old car display. We have come a long way. Thanks for your display of the past Chandler Museum.
