Chandler Park

Wonderful place to see year round - but especially around Christmas. Loved the tumbleweed tree and the history about it. Tradition since 1957 - really cool. Plenty of shopping, restaurants, hotels, and I hear there is a wonderful parade during the holiday season as well. If you are in the area, worth stopping for sure!

This park is clean, there're many stores and restaurants around it. Great location!

Stopped in for the Chevrolet Corvette car show. Some old weathered hag told my pre-teen daughters to get away from her car. She didn't want them even looking in, even though the doors were wide open. I guess that rude woman doesn't like children. The organizers should have told her to take her car and go. Wish I took a picture of her to put on here. We left.

The 5 stars are for the bbq, 3 stars for the beer and 1 star for the very crowded area. The beers & bbq festival was very enjoyable for the time we were there. But we could tell it was getting very crowded and didn’t want to stay for the night concerts because people were becoming rude. There wasn’t a lot of room to walk around and the beer selection was very limited. But the bbq was amazing, every place we tried it was delicious.

Good for events around Christmas and the Saturday Farmers market. No benches in the grass no outlets to charge your. Many, many homeless folks hangout there to use the restrooms and around the library.
