Wonderful festival this year! Lots of vendors and all hand made items made this a very enjoyable event! Plenty of advertising and signs grabbed my attention from the start. From the greeters at the door to the vendors and the organizers, everyone was so nice and very helpful. I am looking forward to their next event!

I thought Art Fest 2022 at Jefferson State Community College (Clanton Campus) would have been much better if it weren't for a few problems that can be easily remedied. The venue was very well-chosen. Although the event was way too short and should've lasted much longer or at least run for the entire weekend. There was hardly any advertising for the event so I'm sure the attendance was low. The advertising that was featured around town was definitely not attention grabbing whatsoever. The few signs I did see were poorly done. There was hardly any decent signage for the event around the actual venue. The variety of vendors was great. They all were super friendly and polite. The artwork and products they were selling was very nice, but the people that were working at the Art Fest unfortunately didn't seem as nice. The two people sitting at the table by the entrance that were supposed to be greeting everyone acted like they didn't want to be there and were not friendly or helpful at all. The guy who gave announcements over the loudspeaker made a few snide comments about the attendees. Then, they ended the show earlier than advertised. I couldn't believe it, but the guy on the loudspeaker actually made the announcement that because no one was buying anything, the vendors may as well pack everything up and go home. That is something that should never be said to prospective buyers. All the vendors immediately started to pack up their items while attendees were still trying to look around and shop. I am so glad Chilton Co. offers an event like this, but some changes definitely should be made for the next one.
