The newfangled Newport Beach Civic Center is located at the City Hall Complex. When it was built several years ago, it was and still is a state of the art facility! The beautiful natural landscape outside is meticulously maintained and is well worth a visit in itself!
Conveniently located between Pacific Coast Highway and Fashion Island business, the setting is a great place for indoor and outdoor functions, gatherings, meetings and enjoyment!
It shares the large parking structure, restrooms and common areas as the Newport Beach City Hall.
A stroll thru the gardens, park and sculpture’s tops off a nice time visit here!

Must bring family. Can not come to Newport without this adventure. Amazing art, dog park, bridge, walk over and get food, walk through library. Pack a lunch. Do your thing- it will be an awesome experience

The building is very interesting and the park is lovely to walk in. The park has trails with lizards and bunny’s (both real and sculptures). It is peaceful and has lots of art sculptures too. The art changes periodically and that’s nice too. One of the few open spaces left here.

It's easy to do business in the city of Newport. Businesses can buy licenses online and pay bills. Whenever I've had questions about anything city related, they have been helpful. The city website is easy to navigate and I can always easily find contact information for the department that I need. Thank you!

If I could give this City a negative rating I would. If you plan on submitting plans for a project make sure you go FIRST THING IN THE MORNING so you can be the first in line otherwise you will be there over 3 hours waiting for the code engineer because they are always understaffed. By the way I have seen the code engineer slowly walk all over the place, no plans in hand, gone to the restroom like 3 times, and just staring around within the 2:40 min I’ve been here so far. I wonder if that’s the reason it takes forever?
