I took a pottery class for the first time here. My instructor, Cindy, was not only an accomplished potter, but a friendly and patient teacher. I found the wheel quite a challenge, but I did manage to make, fire, and glaze a few pieces to take home. I'm going to enroll in a hand-building class next, and maybe re-enroll in a wheel class after that to build my skills. It's work, but it's fun. I also had good classmates. The studio limits enrollment so apply early.

Came with a group for a private class with Francis making pinch pots. I Cannot stress how kind, genuine, and lovely learning with Francis was! She was incredible at teaching, she was careful to teach in ways that everyone can understand. She catered to visual, auditory, and hands on learners. She encouraged creativity and always happily answered questions. She gracefully gave constructive help without ever making anyone feel as if they were doing something "wrong". Her presence was so welcoming and calming!

You can't just walk in and sculpt. Lady behind desk was a bit short. I drove over an hour to be turned away. You should have called first says to me. Disappointed 😔 just want to sculpt clay and and enjoy my day. Members only or classes... But there all full..... An I doubt you could pass or testing.

Do not believe the pictures on the website, three of which show toddlers working with clay and strengthening their hands with hand building. That's not happening here! They offer NOTHING for children under six except in the summer. When the tourists are less likely to be here and then it's just classes you have to sign up for a whole course of them. Or there's a family night Wednesdays for 6 and up.

Not enough instructions or guide and motivation. The studio is new and is nice to take a class with an instructor that feel the passion to teach and be more interested in the student..
