Stayed here with my wife on our honey moon. The bath in the room was amazing and the staff couldn’t be more friendly. The free breakfast was really good the muffins were very fresh. Very cozy and quite stay very clean.

We have stayed in Smithville 14 times now and 1x at The Pittney House. Different rooms each stay & never in The Barn. We don't have children & The Barn welcomes kids. We enjoy a little getaway where we can have a great dinner at The Inn and walk back to our room or stop off & hear live music at Fred & Ethel's. It is located about 10-15 minutes from Atlantic City.
The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, many have outside seating too which is great in the evenings to sit and have some wine & the staff are super friendly. Read online description it's very accurate & shows pictures. We only had a room issue one time and the issue was fixed immediately. Breakfast is always the same, you select when you check in, warm large muffin or croissant, yogurt, juice and any hot beverage they offer throughout your stay. Shortbread cookies are offered to guests around 3:00.
You're also given a slip for discounts &/or free items throughout the village shops. Which is always a nice touch. Such a nice relaxing getaway, give them a try.

We reserved a block of rooms for our November 23 wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with the exceptional staff and the service provided to us and our guests. Everyone had wonderful things to say about their accommodations and the charming, colonial ambiance of the village. Our guests particularly enjoyed strolling through the quaint streets to pick up their breakfast baskets at the Inn each morning. One guest remarked that the experience felt like living in a Hallmark movie, while another said it was as though they had been transported back to a simpler time. For that weekend, the village truly felt like home, and the Colonial Inn created a destination-wedding atmosphere even though we were only minutes from home. Thank you for making our wedding weekend absolutely perfect! We will be back and my out of town guests are already planning return trips with friends and family.

My husband and mom and me the stay was great we love it. All the restaurants are really great. The bakery serve wonderful breakfast. The restaurant Fred and Ethel 's great lunch or dinner .Nice shopping .Lake side Grill had a Prime rib Special on a Friday great food good service and |Beautiful place. A perfect B&B to stay at in the Smithville/Galloway area.
Rooms are beautifully furnished and are in a perfect setting where you can eat and shop all day and night or just relax and enjoy the views.

This stay at Smithville was just picture perfect! We stayed in a village room #210- an adorable cottage nestled in the path of the shops of the village with a nice porch to enjoy with chairs and a small table to watch the passersby's enjoying shopping. The room was simply antique classic cozy with a faux fireplace and antique Raggedy Ann dolls as decorations- and immaculate! |The bathroom is spacious with a double sink, hairdryer and had the most luxurious bath towels I have ever had the luxury to wrap myself with! |The adorable breakfast basket is made to order with a croissant or delicious muffin- kept warm until you pick it up at the friendly Inn's check in desk, along with a yogurt - flavor of your choice, and juice and coffee or tea. All this is tucked into a picnic basket to tote to your room to enjoy!|No need to leave the grounds with the restaurants and nighttime entertainment at Fred and Ethels bar and grill- which had delicious food also.|The stay here was like a fairy tale come true and I'm sure to be back again!

If you’re looking for a great latte, you might want to turn around. While the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice, the latte I had was quite disappointing. It didn’t taste like a traditional latte and was made with an automatic machine rather than a real espresso machine. I saw the machine they used, and it’s clear they don’t have a proper espresso setup. Investing in a real espresso machine could significantly improve the quality of their lattes. Despite the many positive aspects of this inn/cafe, I would not recommend ordering a latte until this change is made. Note: I just got a latte, I didn’t stay at the inn.

This was our first stay at the Colonial Inn and the accommodations were wonderful. The Baremore Room was very nice and the view of the water was great. The bed was comfortable and there is PLENTY of space for clothing. There is a small cafe style table and chairs along two more living room form chairs next to the dresser/TV cabinet. The bathroom is spacious and the shower/steam room was a welcomed addition to our stay. They also have a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy the sun and fresh air with tables and chairs to enjoy your lunch or some morning coffee. We enjoyed our stay with the Colonial Inn and are planning another visit soon. A great Bed & Breakfast to experience.
