As a homeowner, I wanted to express my concerns about the property management company our HOA works with, Community Services. I’m not familiar with the selection process for property management companies, but this one has been far from satisfactory. If I had known this was the company I would have to deal with, I honestly might have reconsidered buying my condo.

What happened to good customer service—being proactive, responsive, and solutions-oriented? It’s incredibly frustrating to see a lack of preparation at board meetings, where discussions often go in circles and rehash the same issues repeatedly, without progress or improvement. Meetings should be efficient and focused on solutions, not redundant conversations.

There are also specific areas where change is clearly needed. For example, the landscaping company is underperforming and should be replaced with a better provider. Additionally, water usage costs are unnecessarily high, likely due to inefficiencies in the sprinkler system. A professional assessment could identify ways to improve water efficiency and reduce costs.

I hope the board can prioritize these issues and take meaningful steps to address them. It’s time to make improvements that benefit the community as a whole.

Unfortunately our HOA uses this company for property management company. As other reviews obviously said, the company has way too many problems.

HOWEVER, I wanna give a shoutout to the on call manager, Tammy (?), who took my emergency call on Friday, 11/8, around 7:30pm. She was absolutely a lifesaver on that evening. I couldn’t have thanked her enough for her help.

This company makes it difficult for you to set up payment, sends you mail to the wrong address (causing further late fees), and when they finally do send you a bill, there is NO option to pay online (they ask for a check).

It's truly astonishing that this company is still around in this day and age. If there is a company that has squeezed joy out of everything, it would be this one.

I just want to give you money. WHY with all this technology and payment portals and options are you making it this difficult for me? Why do you hate humanity?

CMS is awful. 9 months ago I asked to have a basketball hoop removed from a parking area as it is an attractive nuisance and my property has been damaged. For 9 months, Jason Smith has, in writing, said the HOA would take care of it. It is still there and I have communicated with him many times over the last 9 months. According to the CCRs this is a no brainer. They are NOT ALLOWED. Apparently Jason, or his buddies on the HOA, have a vested interest in keeping it there. Jason will *not* put me directly in touch with the board, and I wonder if they even exist. I am currently trying to schedule an IDR, and that is not happening either. Jason has said that it will cause my fees to increase as they will have to retain a lawyer. What? Just do your job and remove the hoop. This is a nuisance and a huge liability allowing an active parking area to be used as a playground. Jason and CMS are willing to run up unnecessary expenses and abandon all sense of fiduciary responsibility in order to advance some mysterious agenda. I have lived here for 22 years and invested north of $86,000 in monthly fees. Jason Smith and CMS don't even deserve one star, but I needed to give that to get this posted.

This is a terrible unreliable company. They continually send your bills late in effort to charge you late fees. Although I make my payments on time, I receive letters stating that I didn’t make a payment for that month. It is very hard to communicate with them, since they take a long time to answer the phone, and they are not friendly. Their customer service is terrible and I have yet to have a good experience.

Unfortunately my HOA at Silver Creek Valley Country Club uses this company. It has been a disaster since I moved in. Their customer service is terrible and they will not respond to phone calls. I would highly encourage using any other management service.

Terrible, just terrible. I called the CMS today and complained about my water not working for 2 days. The lady who answered didn't even take me seriously and asked me the same question multiple times. She didn't give me an ETA for resolution and instead just hung up on me. I would fire their whole staff immediately because they are very unprofessional!

'Customer Service' leaves alot to be desired... Luckily this time it wasn't an emergency,30 mins for someone just to pick up the phone , emails don't get replied to, when you do want to speak to someone, always seem to be conveniently sick that day , I've given up and whenever possible to avoid contacting them going to the board of directors, which completely defeats having a management company.
