Community Shop Class is an absolutely invaluable part of the community! The founder, Chad, is one of the most amazing humans on the planet, driven to help members of the community, especially youth, learn important skills by offering a safe space and a hands-on environment. I have been blown away by the kindness and love pouring from this place every time I've visited. He selflessly offers this space to other community groups for meetups as well, which is amazing! I'm looking very forward to the community bike shop opening sometime in 2025, I can't wait to make this my go-to bike shop! If you're in the area, check it out, you won't be sorry!!

A selfless man has poured his heart and soul into sharing his talents to the Oak Park community. The place is a beautiful work of art. People of all ages have found a place to share their talents, hone new skills, and develope a sense of community. My children and I participated this summer and learned how to a build tiny home and a chicken coop! It was amazing to see the confidence build in my kids. The ADHD Club has become a highlight of my daughter's week, pretty dope for a teen to be stoked about anything. 😂
As I secure housing, I want to live close to Community Shop so that I can volunteer on a regular basis. This is the place to donate and support if you want to see a real community, no b.s., just love.

Wow what a resource. So glad that one of the members is an artist and held a neighborhood art opening for her gallery. We learned all about the other learning that one can do there and services they give to youth. Wish I had had access to something like this when I was young.
