I had an awesome experience at Cowork + Connect during our company retreat!

The coworking space is spacious yet cozy, with all the essentials like monitors and hookups to keep things running smoothly. Plus, the coffee and snacks were a great touch. It's located in Hillcrest, one of the best spots in San Diego, so you're surrounded by walkable shops and restaurants.

The best part for me was Hoss, the office dog.

First things first, let's talk about the amazing staff and new owners. From the moment I stepped foot into Gather, I was greeted with the warmest smiles and a genuine eagerness to assist. The new owners have truly done an outstanding job in creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. They've assembled a team of professionals who go above and beyond to make sure every member feels valued and taken care of. It's refreshing to see such friendly faces each day, always ready to lend a helping hand or engage in a friendly chat.

Speaking of friendly, the community at Gather is simply unbeatable. The mix of talented individuals from various backgrounds creates a vibrant and inspiring environment. I've had the pleasure of meeting so many interesting people here, from entrepreneurs with groundbreaking ideas to creative freelancers pursuing their passions. It's fantastic to be part of a community that encourages collaboration and fosters meaningful connections.

Let's not forget about the physical space itself. Gather is located in the center of Hillcrest where the easy walkability is a huge bonus, as I often find myself taking short breaks to stretch my legs and run across the way to Trader Joe’s or Starbucks. The location truly adds to the overall appeal of this co-working haven.

The facilities at Gather are top-notch. The space is designed with a perfect blend of productivity and comfort in mind. The abundance of natural light that comes in through the large windows is invigorating, and the ergonomic furniture ensures that I can work for hours on end without feeling any discomfort. The artificial lighting is easy on the hours too, as the fluorescent lighting has been replaced with LED - so no flickering.

The amenities are fantastic too, with high-speed internet, printing facilities, meeting rooms, presentation area for larger groups, and even a well-stocked kitchenette.

One aspect that I particularly appreciate is the attention to detail. The owners have thoughtfully curated every aspect of the co-working space, from the stylish decor to the soothing ambiance. They also REALLY want to hear from the members on how they can make changes to improve our experience. It's evident that they truly care about creating an environment that not only boosts productivity but also provides a sense of belonging.

Gather has exceeded my expectations on every front. The warm and helpful staff, the incredible community, and the thoughtfully designed space all contribute to making it a true haven for co-working. Whether you're a freelancer, entrepreneur, or remote worker, I wholeheartedly recommend Gather as the go-to co-working space in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Thank goodness this place exists. I needed a quality workplace for 48 hours in San Diego. At first I tried a coffee shop. Then I found Gather Cowork. They have a thoughtful and comfy setup here. It’s pretty quiet and easy to stay focused. Coffee, tea and snacks are included. Friday they will be offering breakfast, Evelyn, the manager here, was friendly and helpful. You’ll love how she makes you feel at home. Definitely recommended for travel work.

I love this space! It has all the office essentials - wifi, printer/scanner, phone booths, lots of open desks with monitors, conference rooms if you need more meeting space or privacy, plus extras like snacks and cold brew on tap! I happened to come on a day when they had waffle breakfast - what a treat! It's really about the location for me - it's right by my spin studio Cycle Bar and Trader Joe's and Ralph's where I do my shopping. There's also a nail salon, hair salon, pet store, post office and DMV nearby so I can get all my business done in one area. Parking is way better than downtown or North Park coworking spaces I've seen. Really solid food options nearby too, sushi, pizza, Mexican, sandwiches - all good spots. I generally love the Hillcrest area and appreciate the local, community feel of Cowork & Connect. The good vibes are tangible - everyone is friendly, smiles and greets each other or makes convo over coffee, I've seen legitimate networking happen. Absolutely recommend!

I love the vibe at Cowork + Connect! It's a great place to meet other professionals and make friends, everyone is very welcoming. Really comfortable chairs, big desks with monitors, fast wifi, clean and professional atmosphere with lots of natural light and plants. If you're lucky, you'll get to meet Hoss - the cutest little mascot office pup ever! 🐶

It's in Hillcrest, super central, with tons of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, but you don't even have to go out - they provide coffee, tea and snacks for free! Sometimes they even make pancakes/waffles for breakfast onsite! 😋

Highly recommend if you're looking for a coworking spot in San Diego.

I've had the opportunity to use the coworking space and conference rooms at Cowork + Connect in San Diego on many occasions, and each time has always been a pleasant experience! There's always good lighting, comfortable seats, and plenty of space to get into the zone and be productive. The monitors they've added into the space for you to use are also a game changer.

I work for a local digital marketing agency called Explore Digital, who has close ties with Cowork + Connect. Because of this, we've held our team retreats at this coworking space in Hillcrest for a few years now and have made a ton of great memories at this space. It's also been nice getting to know some of the other coworking space members – there's always a friendly face and a welcoming atmosphere whenever I go in.

Also, there's free snacks, which are perfect for those "treat yo-self" moments that all of us hard workers deserve! 😀

Okay and best of all? When the owners bring in their dog Hoss. He's just the best boy! We like to call him Hoss the Boss – he really creates a paw-sitive environment. I'd rate him 12/10, very good at his job.

Anyway, highly recommend! Give this place a try and consider joining the community at Cowork + Connect!

This is a beautiful co-working space! I typically work in coffee shops, but it's such a gamechanger to have a quiet, soothing environment, especially with coffee included. I also used the phone rooms for a meeting. Highly recommend!

Such a great space! The day pass process is super simple and I was able to find free street parking nearby. Strong WiFi and nice amenities. Will be back.
