Very cool store. We weren’t there when the workshops were open, but my daughter loved all of the stuff in the store. The wall of crayons was pretty cool where you can create your own box of Crayons. The employee there was also super nice and upbeat and told us about the store and workshop and answered all of our questions.

Our nine year old dtr and her friend had fun, though I feel like 9 years old is around the max for this experience. Lots of fun activities with the entrance fee. Some additional expenses/games if you choose. This had snakes and lizards with a handler for the kids to see as well.

The Crayola Experience in Chandler, AZ was a nice time. If you purchase your tickets online you save a little. It's definitely fun for kids and enjoyable for adults too if you love crayons and enjoy being creative. Entrance will get you 2 tokens per person. One token to be used for creating a crayon label. The other token can be used to get a pack of model magic to be used to create a masterpiece. We took pics with various backgrounds then had them printed. We had a cartoon sketch made, and designed a car then had them scanned and shown on the big screen. Definitely a good time and worth the trip.

We came here for a fun family day. The kids loved going from activity to activity. They really enjoyed the spin art and transforming a crayon into a different shape. They were excited to see their fashion design on the screen.

We went during the week and it was very quiet.
A lot of art stuff. Drawing, painting and coloring. Would definitely recommend for children who like art.

The Crayola experience is a lot of fun for younger kids. I'd say 10 and younger works fine. There are a surprisingly large number of activities in the small space, and they seem to really engage the kids well. You can melt your own crayon into a mold, melt a crayon and spin it on a plate, color a custom truck that goes a view screen, chalk up a wall and floor, paint watercolor, do molding clay, regular coloring, rubs, do a giant light brite, get a custom crayon wrapper and do several digital activities where the kids jump around. This is great for about a 2 hour visit. The price is a bit high in my opinion, especially since adults pay full price, but you are using consumables and have some souvenirs you can take home. It's probably a one off visit at 85 bucks for a parent and 2 kids. However, if you are close, then you can get a membership and save yourself a load of money. That would make it well worth multiple visits.
