This was our third year attending and has become such a beloved Black Friday holiday weekend tradition. Wear your most comfortable walking shoes because you are going to bank some steps! The living legends exhibit is such a fave of mine, being able to be so close to such history is thrilling. Bring a checkbook because I always see some amazing deals. Miles and miles of cars you’re sure to see what you live the most, corvettes, mustangs, broncos…you name it. Splurge and get the extra tickets to the beer fest held in the center. Worth it on a hot day.

It's a great car show. It's a really nice way to spend a day. Lots of cars, lots of parts, and lots of thing to look at and buy. The weather was very nice this year so it was one of the better shows we have been too.

This years turkey run was my first time ever going, and it was amazing. Awesome cars, huge variety of vendors, anything you could imagine you could find it there. I would definitely go back another year. Too much to view in one day. It is best to take advantage of all three days if you really want to see as much as possible.

Daytona Turkey Rod Run is a swap meet where you think you can get things at a great price. Well think again! For a flea market style swap you have to pay a $20 entrance fee for 1 day. If you have a spouse and 2 kids that's $80 just to walk in. I understand companies have to make money to pay for staffing but $20 per person is an expensive amount for such an event. And you know the vendors are paying a pretty penny to be there. Secondly, many people travel far and wide to be at this event. Daytona Speedway has a massive open parking area. We use to be able to come in with our RV and park overnight. A rude security guy came over and told us in a very rude manner that we cannot stay on the field for free overnight ( mind you it just an open field were people just park. No vandalism and the fields are always left clean. Anyway, I digress.) the security guard said we can stay at the section where there are hookups (electric and water) for $350! What a rip off!!! We stay for 2 days and we dry camp. We do not need to hookup. Funny, in this economy you think that American companies such as the Daytona Speedway would not rip off the people that made them who they are but apparently they don't give two craps! People of America if you keep paying and support such businesses nothing will ever change. Daytona Turkey Rod Run you can keep your event and stuff it!!!

Nice car show put on at the track twice a year, once in the spring and I guess once around Thanksgiving time. They have shuttles and they also have electric scooters to rent which I recomend if you plan on spending a full day here or especially if you want to see everything. If not I definitely recommend you wear some good walking shoes.

Had a great time! So many collector cars and parts in one place. You really need more than one day to see it all. Bring your walking shoes.
