We had decided to stay here because of its proximity to the Golden One center for a concert we were going to. We were not disappointed! The valet parking was quick and easy, checking in was painless, and the rooms were great! It has such a fun and unique feel to it. We loved every part of staying here. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a lovely view of the river. And the price was very reasonable. We are definitely going to stay here again in the future!

The best experience we could have imagined! We booked out a private room to host our rehearsal dinner, and working with Rachel was a DREAM. As soon as we started working with Rachel, we knew we were in good hands. She helped us organize and decorate the room for rehearsal dinner, offering great suggestions and tips. The food was delicious and the service day of was better than I could have imagined. Our friends and family were blown away by how cool the experience of the delta king was, how amazing the food and service was and enjoyed the personal bartenders and boat balcony to hang out on! Highly recommend Delta King for any private event you may have coming up! We will be back!

Love the Delta King!! It’s fun, it’s funky -it’s not about the amenities , it’s about the experience . Rooms are small but charming , service is always great in my experience . We love returning due to the service of Apple the manager , Angie at the front desk, Karen with housekeeping, Holly at the restaurant and Katrina at the bar.
Keep in mind before you stay that it’s a BOAT converted to a hotel , so keep your expectations reasonable. The rooms are small, and you’ll experience noise that one would expect on a river .

I had my anniversary dinner here and the service was terrible.We were spoken to extremely rude and condescending. The Female waitress was extremely rude towards us, but everybody else around us she was extremely nice. She only filled up our drinks one time, and that was after I requested. We waited for 30 minutes just for us to receive our drinks.we have been wanting to eat at the Delta King for a few years and we thought our anniversary would be a good time to go, but this experience made it a complete regret. I wish we never decided to eat here. Food was decent. The lemon chicken was good but salmon was cold.Just the service made it a terrible experience.

Traditionally we have been staying on the Delta King every Christmas for some 15 years. It is our day after Christmas Eve big party we go away to relax. We are always treated well and Old Sacramento is a great location. The restaurant & lounge on the ship are very good and enjoyable. I thank all the staff for always making out stay enjoyable.

Great place for a one-time and not go back stay. It was a good experience but will not go back. Here's why. The food is basically and bland. I had the Ahi tar tar, clam chowder, and pizza. How do u make a pizza w/pesto so bland? I could not taste the pesto at all. The clam chowder was bland. No flavor. The ahi was tasteless. I could go on and on, but I will stop here. The service was not hospitable either. It took alot of patience and energy not to get mad.
Also, u have to understand that ur on the water. So the seals will wake u up. Plug those ears.

The Delta King itself was a beautifully renovated historic boat, and well kept. The staff were all very kind, helpful and professional. The bar and restaurant were very good. Morning coffee on the deck for sunrise was very nice. The room is small but charming with antique hardware and had everything I needed. I enjoyed my stay on the boat. Valet could use an extra person. I did not really care for Old Town Sacramento as it was a very busy tourist area and has a grungy vibe which reminded me of bourbon street in New Orleans.

The room was a bit small but still fun to stay on an old paddle boat. I think it's haunted too. Yes, the noise on the weekends is a bit loud. Lots of partiers and seals howling. I would still highly recommend staying here. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Beautiful sunset and river.
