This playground is awesome! There’s plenty of space, 3 cute turtle fountains to fill up water pails and play in the sand, a whale skeleton to climb, bucket swings, tire swing, and regular swings, mini excavators to dig in the sand, pretend shell fossils throughout the sand, a tunnel, bridge, and path to explore. Plus a huge field area to run around or play with a ball. Lots of fun for kids!

Dinosaur Park was an exciting place to visit, as the themed playground was unique, and captured the imaginations of younger visitors. There was a snack bar, soccer field, baseball diamond, skate park, tennis court, and a good-sized playground with three kind of separate play areas. The lower area has water fountains, whale bone structure, sand area with cool diggers, and a jeep. Off to the right there was an area for smaller children. The upper level has the main playground, and swings. There are a couple of slides going from the upper level to the lower level, but these were metal, and hot. This would be a good choice for a place to get together, or have a birthday party. There are tables, and barbeque pits fairly close to the play area. There seemed to be plenty of parking on the lower lot, even on a weekend, but we parked in the covered parking by Laguna Hills High School. I’m not sure if this is technically allowed, but we didn’t have any issues. Parking is a little walk away from the playground. Also, due to the somewhat separated layout of the playground, it was helpful to have at least a second set of eyes on the kids.

My little guy really loves this park. Really cool place to take your kids. The dinosaur theme is very fun. You can also just hang out with the rolling hills, play catch with your kids or whatever you want.

The field itself is amazing. Always maintained, maybe too much time on maintaining and not enough time open to the public.
The staff in trying to reserve the field, on the other hand, awful. Hard to reach, website unhelpful, and in person they are too hesitant to give you useful information. Very disappointed.

Awesome park! Great for kids ages 3-12. There are also lots of places for parents to sit and there’s also easy stroller access. My kids really enjoyed this park!

Great playground, but every time we come here there's disrespectful older boys on ebikes that cuss loudly in front of all the little kids. They have every right to be there, but maybe the proximity to the high school attracts them. I suggest maybe coming here super early in the morning to avoid, if you care about that.

We took a break at Dinosaur Park for the kids after riding our bikes and e-scooters on the Aliso Creek bike trail and the place was nice and clean. I like that there is a smaller separate playground area for young toddlers and a bigger separate area for older kids. All the playground equipment looked well-maintained and the kids had fun playing on the slides, swing, and the sand.

The only bad thing about this place was that all the bathrooms were closed (locked) and one had to use a porta-potty located far off (probably due to COVID-19).

Also, despite signs asking parents and kids to wear face coverings, about 95% of the people here did not wear any masks (kids & adults).

During normal circumstances, this park would be a great place for both adults and kids to relax and play.

We enjoyed the park. It wasn't too crowded and was a nice size. Very clean and well kept. Just moved to the area and will definitely be bringing my son back!
