GIFT & THRIFT's events are the BEST and DIVERSE events to happen to Mesa in a while!

Edit: Gift & Thrift hosted the FIRST Pride event in Downtown Mesa! Kudos to them

Thank you GIFT & THRIFT for bringing LIFE to an otherwise vacant downtown Mesa!

The demographic GIFT & THRIFT brings is EXACTLY what downtown Mesa wants and needs!

I was at the Mesa Arts Center for a concert on December 27. The parking garage, adjacent parking lots and closeby lots were cash pay. My understanding is that this is the result of the Association’s actions rather than those of the Arts Center. If that premise is incorrect, please inform accordingly.

To me, concern for diversity is reflected in actions rather than words. To see all of the closest parking limited to cash pay, thereby marginalizing access for anyone with physical limitations, aging concerns, or mobility concerns was sad. I had viewed Mesa as a more progressive city.

It is my hope that as you continue to pursue creative avenues of revenue generation, you will expand into contemporary payment options that afford access to cashless persons who do nog have the privilege of walking distances.

Parking in same spot for 5 years never got a ticket or warning. Now we can't park outside our apartments without getting a ticket. Bad neighbors.

Was a ticket from the Downtown Mesa Association not the police.
