EVIT is a facade, it's for burnt out old teachers that can't make it in the real world. Funny how none of the current teachers or past teachers put down on Facebook that they work or worked at EVIT Nobody is proud of it. Everybody's ashamed, they know they're part of the game. No one ever answers the phone! I’ve been trying to speak with Brittany the nursing program coordinator and I can never reach her. I’ve sent emails, left messages and even walked into the school with no response. I’ve even had other nurses tell me they have a difficult time reaching her and looked into Jersey college instead because they actually respond back to you. I’m an LPN looking to further my career, and after not getting anywhere with EVIT; I finally just decided to seek an RN program elsewhere.

the teachers and staff do not care about the students they make it awful to get up and start your day their , all of the programs are super underfunded the barber shops and cosmetology areas are unsanitary, THE SCHOOL MAY BE THE CHEAPEST OPTION BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!! , They play favorites in the programs and do not follow their own rules but treat you like a little kid in the adult programs , NOT TO MENTION THE SCHOOL IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GHETTO , their was people cloth less on drugs coming in our building walking around definitely just a ghetto bad school in general would not recommend to any one

i wish i had picked a different school for my education in cosmetology. program plays favoritism and does not follow their own guidelines. i will not recommend evit to anyone. i wont let my own kids come here. spend the extra money on the other schools before considering EVIT.h

Unfortunately would not recommend attending the Digital Animation course if you are looking for something that’s IT/Tech-oriented. The course is rather art-centric and you are already at a massive disadvantage if you lack any significant visual-art skills as a majority of assignments are graded based on creativity, uniqueness, craftsmanship etc; you are also expected to draw everyday (even outside of the classroom) in a sketchbook that’s also graded on the same rubric as mentioned previously along with completion so don’t expect to get by with generic doodles. Lastly, a lot of what you learn in this course during the 9-or-so months here can be achieved online, by yourself, in less time, and for free.

Outside of some minor issues with instruction and discipline I wanted to highlight some of my main concerns in hopes for any future evit students considering taking the Digital Animation course to reconsider if they so wish. It’s safe for me to say that I will not be returning to EVIT next year as not only I’ve determined that this is not my career path (as much as the instructors and other staff like to drill that into your brain) but the quality of education is not suitable for me and the $165 I paid for out of pocket.

This school is absolute sh!t. Words can’t describe how unorganized the schooling is. the teachers are rude and don’t know anything. The staff honestly doesn’t give a single sh!t about students. Research schools before you decide to go to evit. It may be cheap but it sure as hell doesn’t teach. I regret choosing to go to evit because I could have gotten way better schooling. I am almost done and all i have to say is thank the lord. If i could give 0 stars I would.

Underfunded auto repair program is a shame all of the kids there have to sit in a class room and read from computers they go there to learn how to work and diagnose not stare at a computer for 2&1/2 hours a day real shame and waste of money not to mention the computers in some classes are on their last legs and there aren't enough for everyone so some students have to go without the same resources as others putting them at a disadvantage

Staff and Admin are so rude for no reason. Found joy in ruining fashion for the fashion students. Won’t work with kids needs. I swear they hate their jobs and find joy in ruining kids experiences. Needs people who are actually positive in helping kids, Overall all yall suck. Especially you Corbin.
