Beautiful nature preserve. We saw a group of about 10 deers wandering the preserve. Small amount of trails that are fairly easy to navigate. Great views of the river too. Also has a replica of a Nisenan village and friendly volunteers.

Quite and specius place, should visit if you are planning to spend a in the midst of nature. Nice little historic place, plenty of nature plenty space to walk around. Peaceful, not very crowded. Entry fees for the day $7 per vehicle. You can walk all the way upto the river and watch birds.

Beautiful native American mortar site with rebuilt native American housing lots of taxidermy animals in the center it's self that are found are Sacramento River great trails to walk that lead to the river

Best place to go for some outside fun .
Short hikes are perfect for kids, and at the end of the hike, some beautiful cold water to have fun in, I highly recommend

Great place for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing in the river. Then the Effie Yeaw Nature center is fun, best for toddlers and young kids as this will help them learn more about reptiles, birds, deers, coyotes and whatever animals they will find as you use their trails.

It cost 6 dollars for vehicle entry but it was worth it. The trails near the nature center are full of wildlife. I saw several varieties of fowl at the river, some diving for food. I also saw several deer along the trail. There is a nice bench in the middle of the woodland trail I relaxed at while one horned deer sat near and two others moved around in front of me.
