In 1983, when I was in the 6th grade I went to El Camino Pines. The experience was wonderful! I remember all the activities and the fun. I remember being scared of the horses. I remember the snow on the ground and my 1st experience of the amazing peaceful quiet that it brings. El Camino Pines has become a cherished memory from my childhood. Every child should be lucky enough to have that same experience.

Beautiful, started out warm, cooler than Thousand Oaks though. Intense thunder and lightning, followed by heavy rain was super memorable. Rain dropped the temperature down to the 70's which felt great.

so i just came back from attending science camp with my daughter, i must say i think i had more fun than some of the kids. the staff is EXCELLENT with the kids. the educational material is great. lots of hands on activities. perfect combination of educational and fun. i highly recommend it. Drew, Cali, Bristol, Jared, Owen, Sara... you guys are awesome!!

My daughter has been there and loved it. They helped her how to work as a team which right now she is using what she knows to work with us. If i had a chance to get out of work i would definitely go. I thank the staff for showing her many life changing skills!😀

Well.....to tell the truth, it's been over 20 years since just driving up to the location and reminisce of the good times of staying the cabins and the crafts were cool to.
The counselors were different back then because of the 70's era and age.
The food was pretty bomb and the chow hall was a memory of eating, talking and observing the way everyone seemed so into the place, atmosphere and the way it was a little nature to.
I hope all these memories I have and the faces are as happy now as I was to be a part of el caminos pines camp experience and thank you to all who were a part of my time and then some

This was the best field trip I've gone to, this is definately my SCIENCE camp! The food is awsome, love the actives, groups teams, and games. The staff are SUPER DUPER AWSOME (To: Andrew,[a.k.a grand [a.k.a grand pappy]Leah, Yolonda, Bettiny, K-K........... something (I forget your name sorry!)and last but not least the best of the best, my favorite, NICK!). I loved the staff there Cali, Austin, Bristle, Jared, Drew and Kyle are so awesome! I love how it is there the food is amazing and like... ITS SO COOL and helped me hike longer too!
