I and my husband volunteered time at a "Back To School" event that was manned by many other volunteers including their very own youth in their boxing team. They provided backpacks for all ages of youth, and school supplies, reading books, arts and craft, free food, free groceries, and entertainment as well. It was wonderful and from what I hear they do similar event 2-3 times a year. All the smiling faces made it all worth the heat and sweat.

I don’t usually leave reviews but when the service is extremely wonderful I do. I went in the other day to learn more about this organization and the man in the front by the name of Roy was very helpful. I wanted to know more about what this organization provides and he was very helpful in informing me. This organization really does a lot for our community and if the staff is as friendly as Roy even more wonderful. Would definitely let my friends and family know about El Centro del Pueblo! Definitely recommend Roy!

I don't know exactly what all is offered here at this "community center" but I did see a lot of options for kids and teens, etc. And then how much of that is being offered through this crises that we are worldwide all going through at some stage right now, but I know why I went there. Our Mayor, E. Garcetti gave out a little aid to some of us who qualify and though I was too far down the list at 1st to get it but a surprise 2nd wave opened up and that's where I had to go to see about it. So, I was there in the peaceful little courtyard with a bunch of others and I was grateful. It was a nice neighborhood and even in the crises with a courtyard of folks and we were helped with social distancing. While I waited I enjoyed the sun on my face and kept at ease - FOR the first time in months. So I thank the workers and I gotta say thank you Mr. Mayor. Its a help through all this nightmare. As was a little warmth and sun.

The therapist sessions are very unprofessional, they do not have enough staff, they are canceling all the time and also they are changing their therapists and they have to starting all over again with the cases this is supposed to be helpful for the kids but it's not.
