After reading reviews from another trade school I seen a few reviews that said don't bother with this school go to Electrical Traning Academy. I went to the open house and met Jimmy the owner. He went over the whole program and I was very impressed. I told Jimmy my son had a learning disability and was a little nervous sending him to this school. He said trust me your son will be fine. The teachers are all electricians who teach both with books and then hands on like on a jobsite. The teachers really looked after my son and taught him everything he needs to become an electrical apprentice. This trade school is the real deal and if you want to learn the trade I highly recommend ETA. I want to thank Jimmy I appreciate. My son loved attending this program. Thanks

Great school if you want to go into the electrical field. I learned everything here including how to wire different devices, codes for residential housing, how to do rough ins, and more. I definitely feel ready to start an apprenticeship just because of ETA. They also have 4 teachers in the classes so everyone gets the attention they need and are secure in what was just taught. Its also basically all hands on which is exactly the way to go when learning a trade. Huge shoutout to my teachers Kevin, Jay, Ryan, Perry, and Adrian. Thank you guys for being great teachers and literally getting me ready for my career. Huge shoutout to Jimmy for opening this school and making it an affordable alternative to other trade schools that cost over $30K and for making sure we have good teachers.

Attending ETA Bootcamp was one of the best decisions I made for my career. The program gave me the foundational knowledge and hands-on training I needed to land my first job with an electrical contractor, where I worked for over a year before transitioning to One Three Electric to continue expanding my skills.
I’m especially grateful for the instructors at ETA—they are truly dedicated to their students’ success. Their commitment to teaching and ensuring we fully understand the trade made a huge difference in my learning experience. I highly recommend ETA Bootcamp to anyone looking to start a career in the electrical field.

Just graduated recently and wanted to say how great of an experience this was. Mike, Jay and Sabol were my teachers. Although they are all electricians they had different skill sets and knowledge to share about their skill and journey getting to where they are. They were fun to talk to and make jokes with but when need be could get serious and teach us lessons. They let/encouraged us to challenge each other and be able to reference codes and prove our point. They encouraged us and checked in on us throughout the week aside from classes and if any student was late they would always call them to make sure they are doing good and are safe. Although like expected it is a pre apprenticeship program so things can feel slow as you are learning the basics, they do a great job at challenging each student and encourage mastering your craft and making your work look as clean and professional as possible even if that’s doing the same thing over again a few times. This school has taught me a lot and prepared me for many years ahead and I feel confident to go into the electrical field and feel like I know a lot more then 1st, 2nd, or even some 3rd years that didn’t get the privilege to be trained by people that want to see them succeed. I have yet to start as an apprentice but whenever I would like to start I know Jimmy is waiting with resources, companies, names, references, anything we need to get going. Jimmy has created an awesome school and was super helpful through the whole process and always responds to a text or picks up a call which is a thing most people in the position he’s in do not do or want to do. Thank you for this experience and I’ve included some pictures of Either homework from class or some side job work I have been able to feel confident in doing.

This is my third time writing a review for ETA. Before I had it at 3 stars because of my impatience, however Jimmie hooked me up with a job and told me straight up he was working on getting a job for me and took a little extra time to do so. I honestly didn't have a lot of words to say when he told me and I want to thank Jimmie and the entire ETA family how grateful I am for still having an opportunity in my hands. Communication is key anywhere but I was a coward to give them a phone call. It's my own fault I kept everything through text.
I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get into electrical because I myself went to ETA first day not knowing a drop of electricity and I came out doing a side project with my father wiring up a ceiling fan in a gazebo outside. The instructors are great with knowledge and keep you engaged each night at school. I really enjoyed how fast paced the course went and I never felt left behind or anything. The instructors make sure you understand the material of what's being shown with no pressure at all. I felt ready early on to find a job but I'm glad I waited to understand more of the basics down the line.
This is a family owned business and school who actually knows how to teach and know what is being shown to the students rather than bigger corporate schools like Lincoln Tech for example. It also costs less than the corporate schools.
I hope these words encourage people to sign up because I truly believe this is the best school in Jersey and probably even New York. Sign up quick because classes get full on the roster fast!

I was looking for a short-term electrical schooling option that would provide me with enough credential in order to have an appeal request for Re-Interview accepted at a local Union. What I received in return was a thorough education in the breadth of the field explained and demonstrated in and with practical terms and methods that were clear and easy to comprehend. A field that can be very complicated was made simple. But even more so, what I received in return was a family -- a group of individuals who care and want to see me succeed. In a world where big promises are often just that and not much more, ETA stands a testament to a commitment to camaraderie.
ETA delivers upon exactly what is promised at the Open House, which you should visit if you're considering the electrical field. You are not guaranteed everything, but know that you will be under the tutelage and be represented by individuals who will stick their necks out to ensure that you will begin heading in the direction of success. I took the leap and put my faith into this program so you don't have to. If electrical is your path, I tell you that the uncertainty of which electrical program in the area you should choose should end now. You found it. It actually is half the price of other programs; it actually is overwhelmingly hands-on; you actually will know a lot more when you graduate than you will if you choose a different program in this area.
Take the financial leap, come ready to work, and come ready to pay attention, and you will not only have a fruitful experience, but if your experience is anything like mine was, you will have a fun time while doing it. And after it's over, you will not be forgotten. You will not be a transactional figure. As I said, you will be part of a family, one willing to help you continue your pursuit of success after you've graduated no matter where you're at in your journey. I, personally, will never forget my mentors, and I have made friends that I hope to keep for a lifetime. At the very least, you should visit the Open House and see what ETA has to offer you. You have nothing to lose, and a family to gain.
5 out of 5 stars.

Learned so much from this school, all the teachers are great and know what they are teaching. Started with zero knowledge, and leaving with more than I need to start off in this industry. Now that I graduated looking forward to furthering my knowledge and experience even more. Ready to grind and work 👊🏽1000% recommend this school.

Coming to ETA BOOTCAMP has been one of the best decisions of my life! A few months after having my first child I knew I needed to make a big change in my career and this was the perfect program for me! I was able to work during the day and attend classes at night, the small classes and 4:1 teacher ratio made it easy to learn and to have all my questions answered. If you speak with Jimmie HE IS THE REAL DEAL! Along with the daily teachers, Vinnie, Kevin and Steve I could not be happier with my experience and overall skills gained by attending. It’s a fast but effective course that really gets you moving in the electrical field! 10 STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE!
