I have been going to Empire skates for years and have always had great experiences! Amy has been so helpful and kind and helped me put together my dream skates! They are very knowledgeable and always have the best advice to keep me safe and happy. Great service and quick turnaround time for mounting my plates and any other service needed for my skates. 10/10 would recommend!!!

The owner, Amy, very sweet and helpful, and very knowledgeable in derby and recreational skating.

I have been skating as a beginner for a few years and have never had such good customer service at a skate shop. Went in to upgrade gear for derby and owner Amy is kind and so so knowledgeable. Ask questions! Will be back for all my skate needs!

So I finally went here after needing to get some new longboard wheels for months, the shop itself is so cool! Everything is reasonably priced and they have a HUGE selection of various skating items.

The reason why this is a 3 star is because the employee that 'helped' me unfortunately 🙁

I told her I wanted some wheels that would ride over most debris, also that I wanted them to be longboard wheels specifically as well if that was possible. I thought she was relatively nice when I first met her despite her selling me some wheels that didn't end up fitting the criteria of what I needed.

I checked out the stores website later that day and actually found the perfect wheels I needed and for only HALF the price I paid on the wheels I didn't want so I asked my mom to return the wheels when I was at work the next day.

Mom told a story of how the same worker who helped me gave a little attitude and how she got a little upset that the unused wheels were returned. Sadly that immediately soured my store experience because I was gonna go back Monday to get the wheels I really wanted 🙁

Hopefully she was just having a bad day but I don't think I'll be going to the store again unless I know she won't be in there :/

What a great experience I had with empire skates! I ordered custom Riedell with colorlab with Amy’s assistance. I must’ve tried on over 15 skates to make sure that my measurement was perfect for the order. I have a weird size foot where i am in between sizes. I cannot thank Amy enough for all her help. She went above and beyond and she even helped me make sure that I was ordering the right size even after measuring a few times. I’m really excited about my new wheels that I got with Empire skates from bont glow. Empire skates carries a variety of skate accessories for beginners to advanced level skaters. I highly recommend Empire skates because you do not always get such a high level of customer service these day from other location and it’s rare. What i experienced was exceptional customer service and support that I received was spectacular. Thank you AMY!

Awesome place to order skates! I recently ordered a pair of custom Riedell 951s thru the website and the process was so easy with Empire. I got my skates, they were a perfect fit!
