I really appreciate the dedicated, enthusiastic, friendly and responsible service of the library staff. I enjoy the wonderful concerts held regularly here, as well as the various interesting and meaningful courses and activities for adults and children, such as yoga classes, painting and handicrafts, talent poets' gatherings, yoga classes, etc. This place provides a very quiet, warm and comfortable environment and place for reading and working.

Comfortable seating. S long building with a zigzag west wall to maximize seating with a view of the ocean. Also a pergola covered patio with lots of andirondack chairs as well as patio tables and flower boxes along the wall. Translucent shades to soften the afternoon sun. Clean bathrooms and big spaces for children and young adult books as well as the obligatory fiction and nonfiction stacks

This library is one of the nicest I've been to; it's a very clean and updated building and makes you feel very comfortable. They also have some separate areas including a literacy lab and a closed area outside that is kid friendly. I also like that it's not far from my chiropractor, so when I go to Innate Health and Healing I can easily stop in.

This is one of the most beautiful libraries you’ll ever see. Do yourself a favor and visit soon. Don’t forget to visit the Friends of the Library bookstore right in front to pick up some great bargains on high quality books, cds, dvds and puzzles. All proceeds go directly to the library!

I adore this library.
If you sit and work or read outside, you have the most incredible view of the ocean.
They also have a bookstore where you can purchase some books for a good price and support the library.
A hidden (or maybe not so hidden) gem.

Definitely one of my favorite places around San Diego.
Vegan burgers are amazing, bowls are great, and tea is comforting.
I can just sit there the whole day ..
