We had an event a few weeks back, the building is rare and beautiful in its character, but the building can use some updating. The windows are so old that we had to keep someone there the night before the event to make sure no one got in and took our decorations and supplies we had there. The building has no air, oops it has small units to cool the upper and lower level. Which really didn’t make a dent in the 100 degree weather plus the level of heat from the people that were trying to enjoy the food and festivities.
The building is not handicap equipped, we had to either assist our elderly down by having the men carrying them down or up the steps.
I believe the hall can be a real hit if many improvements are made. I’m truly surprised that in its state that the building inspectors haven’t red tagged the building. Kinda smells like there may be some favors being done for the building commissioner! Just a thought

It doesn’t even deserve one star but I couldn’t add my review if I don’t put one. If you are planning a party think more than twice about expending you money here. The owner take advantage of people, he says if you clean the hall he will return your deposit back but it’s a lie we had a party and he said that the hall was dirty went we even left it more clean then it was, plus the mops were so dirty. and he didn’t return anything back not even half. Plus it doesn’t even have ac, no heater not fans and the men’s bathrooms 🚽 gets plug. I can believe that there’s people like that who’s always looking to take advantage of people I understand if he didn’t like it that way we left it but at least he should return half back.😡👊🏻
