I’ve been coming to this studio since April 2022, and I love it here—it's like my second home. Amy (owner / instructor) really focuses on helping everyone, from students to members, grow their skills in a supportive and educational environment.

All the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, and I've learned so much here: wheel throwing, hand building, slip-cast mold making and glaze formulation—and even more specialized techniques like nerikomi, marbling, and mono-printing.

Compared to other studios I've been to, this one is much more friendly and has a warm, community-centered vibe. Highly recommend!

Nice instructor - very helpful.

Feel bad but can only give 3 stars. Of my 8 pieces, 3** were “lost.” They were the best ones too so it’s just super disappointing.
I had gone in multiple times but they disappeared over the weekend. She offered the clay to redo it so I guess there was a good faith effort.

Also when we first started the class there were supply chain issues so we didn’t get any of the tools that were included (didn’t get it by the end of the class either).

Street parking only.

** edit 11/03:
Correction- 4 pieces were lost so basically 50% of what I made. Posting the photos just made me sad.

Response to Owner comment:
- Amy offered clay and to go back to redo.
- Someone took them then, there was no mistaking, they were quite distinctive with a theme. This was also right before you guys had a big sidewalk sale so maybe it was sold? I'll post pictures of the pieces that went missing.
- Street parking isn't bad, I always found a spot. I included in review just for info.

Great atmosphere, lovely people and parking is usually pretty good. You learn a lot in the classes and everyone is kind and supportive if you have questions.

I took a course here and while I was able to learn how to create my pieces and everyone was kind, the management of the place was not great. It took MONTHS for things to get done in order for me to even move pieces into the next step. There was no schedule on when things would be done/ or you would be told it would get done by a certain date and it wouldn’t. In the end 5 of pieces went missing and the communication regarding this was just so poor. Not getting back to me when they say they would or just not responding at all.
* I was also not the only person dealing with missing pieces during this time. Another girl was missing multiple. I was missing 5 after 5 months of working on these items. So disappointing.

This is a great community studio with nice people and fun classes. I love the intimate feel and I've learned a lot in the intermediate class with Amy, the owner.
