I learned a lot about the history of Fair Oaks.A volunteer named Bob explained it to me, so I enjoyed listening to it.It's a very small history museum, so if there hadn't been any explanation, the visit would have only lasted a few minutes.The volunteers seem to change every time.The volunteer, Bob, is 89 years old.He was very energetic.Thank youIf you get hungry after visiting this historical museum, you can dine at the Sunflower Restaurant next door.When I visited, it was lunchtime and the parking lot was full.Next time I visit, I'd like to go at a different time.If you live in Fair Oaks, of course! If you live anywhere else, please come and visit the history museum.

A interesting and fun place to find out facts and history of fair oaks. Do you know how the chickens in the park got there? How cheap the land was back then in 1907? It was $30/acre. They also have some old appliances like an old metal non-electric vacuum cleaner which I will post some pictures of. As of today, 09/19/2018 they are doing some construction work and are closed.
