My sister and I spent one night. We checked in and we’re given an excellent class of champagne!
We sat in the beautiful lobby and did some wine tasting, which was very nice.
Our room was beautiful! The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was large and pretty.
We walked the grounds and then toured the spa and it looks incredible. Next time we will definitely partake😉

All the hotel and restaurant staff are very well trained, friendly and cheerful, which provides a great customer experience. The restaurants could use more vegan options, esp as they are making efforts towards sustainability in other areas, but the chef accommodated our vegan breakfast by substituting tofu for egg. Very dog friendly, nice grounds to walk around. Our room had some minor maintenance issues. House keeping was a bit sporadic, perhaps understaffed. Spa was great, enjoyed the geothermal pools, cold bucket and steam room. Perfect for a quick getaway.

An overnight girl's trip stay + spa day was the perfect antidote during February's rainy gray days! All was delightful, the service was top notch, and we luxuriated in all the small & large extras the hotel had to offer. The spacious and well-appointed room was clean, with bed, linens, & pillows fluffy comfortable perfection. A special spot to create special memories! ||||One note: the spa closes early (4:30pm) so be sure to book and arrive accordingly if you want to enjoy the bathhouse pre- or post-service. We only had a 1/2 hour left after the treatments, but the hotel kindly offered us time the following morning instead. The mark of true hospitality and care for excellent customer service.

This hotel is so full of history! I think it’s the perfect place for anyone who can appreciate the beauty that comes with age. Even though it’s nearly 100 years old, it’s been so well-maintained and has this amazing historical charm. I loved how cozy, peaceful, and timeless the atmosphere felt.

Oliver at the front desk was so friendly and warm, which made the experience even better.

When i walked in, there was this faint scent of wood burning from the fireplace, and the wooden chessboard and comfortable chairs in the lobby gave the place such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The champagne we got during check-in was full of flavor and absolutely delicious, and during the afternoon wine hour, I found the best Chardonnay I’ve ever tasted.

Soaking in the healing waters, which were once considered sacred by the native people, while feeling the contrast of the cool air and warm water was such a special and enjoyable experience.

Overall, this hotel is intimate, elegant, and full of history—it’s a place I’ll always cherish and remember.

I had such a great time staying at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa! The staff was so welcoming and made everything super easy and comfortable for me. The rooms were spotless, a really nice size, and the beds were super comfy.
The highlight of my trip was definitely the spa—I spent an entire day there, and it was absolutely amazing.
Everything about my stay was wonderful. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Really appreciated the complimentary cabana for our group! Everyone could not have been nicer. Loved the Therapist. She was extremely nice. However, the massage was not very good. There was hardly any massaging going on. It was more like meditation and gentle stretching. That was disappointing. But, the waters, steam and sauna were wonderful

We love the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. We're somewhat local and this has become our favorite winter one-night getaway. The spa is fantastic! Rodney, one of the massage therapists, is phenomenal. I specifically ask for him when we book massages because he's just so good. So professional and caters the session to your problem areas and energy. It's also great that the indoor spa and sauna are shared spaces for all genders. The outdoor hot spring pools are fantastic yearround and perfect for a soak during a chilly day. The restaurant and bar are also fantastic and the shuttle to Sonoma Square is also really easy. Stop what you're doing, book a night there, and book a massage with Rodney!

Stayed at this hotel with my fiancé. We spent the day by the pool and then walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The service was excellent and the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a really fun time chatting with the server Cassius at the wine bar. Would definitely stay here again.
