Did the pageant masters, suggest more time to browse before the show. Also the closer center seating tickets the better. I just want to see the human factors involved and felt to far away we were left mid.

There are themed events and music before the show. I need to go back cause I missed this. We came on a Monday evening. It was lovely with a slight chill in the air. As the orchestra brought out and highlighted the show beautifully. Bring a blanket, sweaters and maybe a snack!!

Shuttle was easy, parking 5 bucks, we chose lot 16 for those with limited walking, this was doable distance about two football fields with rest in-between to get seated. Then you gotta return! So it can be smaller segments to walk if you plan ahead.

I loved the featured artists works prior to the show. They were so interesting to talk to.

Always an outstanding performance. So original and you always learn something about art and the artists. A La Mode was all about fashion and covered all eras. Bravo and brava to the volunteers that make this an annual visit worthwhile. If you go early enough park in the lot 16 off Laguna Canyon, pay $5 and take the trolley that drops you off right at the entrance. Easier than trying to find parking close by. Spend time walking around the pageant arts exhibits with artists selling their work before the show.

If you love art, it will be an amazing experience. If not, you might get confused or miss some excitement. The real amazement comes from the makeup, the lighting, the recreation, and the speed of the changes. I loved the experience. Get there with plenty of time since traffic in the area can get HECTIC.

Was it just the special lighting that was askew or was the makeup artist new? Love this event, but some apparent issues with quality this year. I know the topic of fashion may have caused specific challenges with presentation, but my concerns were not with that. I’ve been coming here off-and-on since the mid-1970s, even on media nights. I have never seen open wig/cap edges, open cut areas where an actor is sitting as part of a poster, or people appearing 4D and as if they’re standing in front of the artwork with a shine on their face. This year was the exception. We attended last night and, now that I live in Las Vegas, my most recent visit was five years ago for comparison. I was so excited to return! The 4D statues appeared the best; however, still some edges that stood out from the hairpieces and completely off of the faces of actors. The 2D presentations were not even close to the quality they have been in the past. We overheard other patrons making the same remarks, so it wasn’t just us. LOTS of blinking this year by the actors, too. One child in the Henry VIII set even moved a bit, but he’s a kid! Those didn’t really bother me. The jeweled pendants were beautifully done and the giant shoe was genius. Just need a bit of polishing on the finer points with nearly all other sets.

A friend took me this year and the theme this year is Fashion through the ages. The first half is about women's fashion and the second half is all about the men.

There is a 15 min intermission between the 1st & 2nd acts.

They do have a snack bar available before, but I don't know about at intermission.

There is a gift shop and a bunch of artists showing their artwork (which is for sale).
Parking is either on the street or paid lots.
It does get a bit chilly so do bring a coat incase you need it.

Pageant of the Masters is so fun! If you have never been, you owe it to yourself to attend once!

They take painting and turn them to life with real people!

They also have so many cool artists showing their work.

Definitely worth it once in your life!

Just had my first experience at this location and watch the summer 2024 pageant of the Masters festival of fashion show. I cannot recommend this enough for anyone who loves art, photography, fashion, and creativity. A completely unique experience unlike anything I've ever seen before, and I cannot wait until next year to see what they come out with next.
