I booked a private wheel class here for a work team building event and it was such a great experience! Rainy and staff were incredibly welcoming and patient, guiding us through each step of creating our own pottery pieces on the wheel. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, making it easy for everyone to bond and get creative. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, this studio is perfect for all skill levels. Highly recommend for any group activity or just a fun day out!

I bought a couple pottery pieces and couldn't be happier with the design and craftsmanship. I found a perfectly sized cup for my morning Gongfu tea sitting.
[2024 August] I've taken a couple six week pottery wheel classes. What an excellent place to spend time exercising the brain's right hemisphere. The staff here is experienced and has helped accelerate my learning journey to the point where I've exceeded my own expectations. See photos. I highly recommend Fifth Street Studio.

So grateful to have this place in NWA! It is a great place with friendly people and I love being able to go get creative. There are many classes and workshops to choose from or memberships if you’re already a potter. Definitely recommend!

If you’re looking to “try” Fifth Street Studio, you better try your absolute best—because they won’t offer you any flexibility if something happens.

I want to recognize that I must have written down the wrong “Try the Wheel” class date. That’s totally on me. This was supposed to be my first pottery class ever (and a date night) with my husband. I hoped to enjoy it and sign up for the multi-week series. I paid $130 for my honest mistake.

The studio was closed when we showed up on the date I had written down. I checked my confirmation email and realized the error. I was so disappointed.

I reached out to Fifth Street Studio asking if we could have some grace and get rescheduled since we had every intention of attending (we showed up, just on the wrong date). They were not flexible and kept our $130 due to a strict cancellation policy.

I was told over the phone that they don’t “make a lot of money” off these classes, so it’s not worth offering refunds. I understand they are a small business, but it sounds like they don’t place much value on those who sign up for classes.

I’ve had a great experience taking classes here. The staff and other members are super helpful, creative, & encouraging. All skill levels truly are welcome. I look forward to continuing to learn from them all.

Oh! And the pottery pieces they create to sell or for commission are a superior quality.

This place is a joke. I attended their summer nights event where you can make a piece and then pay $5 to have it fired and glazed. I make a baseball and the woman working that night takes my money and tells me I will receive an email letting me know when it is done. Come to find out when I go to pick it up that it was apparently too solid and they never did it and didn’t give me a refund either even though nobody alerted me that it wouldn’t be done because of its size. Save your money this place is predatory and a joke.
