Absolutely stunning! Flora exceeded all our expectations as a wedding venue. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking beauty of the grounds. The lush gardens, elegant decor, and serene atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for our special day.

The staff at Flora went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and warm hospitality made us feel truly special. They were always available to answer our questions and accommodate our requests, making the entire planning process stress-free.

On the day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly, thanks to their impeccable coordination. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the venue was and how well everything was organized. It was truly a magical experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our love.

As a longtime wedding officiant, I love it when my couples introduce me to a venue that is new to me, especially when it makes me smile as much as my recent wedding at Flora did! The living wall, the skylights, the many live green plants, the mixture of mirrored and clean white walls, the bookcases and shelves, and the space flexible enough to hold the whole event (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) - all help transport you into this oasis in the middle of downtown, creating what felt like such an intimate experience for my couple and their guests. And the communication with Jill and the team ahead of time, along with their professionalism on the day of, allowed us all to feel taken care of. I greatly look forward to getting back to Flora for more weddings and suggest that you check it out for your wedding or event!

Our wedding turned out better than we ever imagined and the Flora team was a big part of the reason why. After 3 postponements/change of venues we were a little jaded from the wedding journey. But the minute I stepped into Flora I have to admit—I actually teared up. Just imagining finally having our special day in such a beautiful space got me excited again! The entire team from start to finish was so responsive and supportive.

I have to especially thank our in-house Coordinator, Juliette, for her warm, personable, and organized approach. I was so busy with my newborn baby during crunch time of planning so having her help was crucial in decreasing the stress. My mind was so scrambled postpartum, but she never made me feel bad for being forgetful. She and her team arranged all of the decor in such a stunning way.

The venue itself is already gorgeous, so you don’t need much to create a beautiful ambiance. The minute you step inside it’s like an escape into a different world from downtown SD. And the plants are all real!

I also loved working with Erin (Beverage Director) who went above and beyond e.g. Getting Martinelli’s the day before the wedding just to accommodate one of my pregnant guests! She also always responded so quickly with emails which I really appreciated.

Katherine was also wonderful from start to finish and really set the tone running a top notch team. All of the other staff members present that night were also enthusiastic and kind—exactly the type of energy you need on your big day!

Definitely recommend Flora especially if you’re looking for an intimate space for a special occasion. With 95 adults + a few kids it was the perfect size both during the ceremony and reception to create a warm but not overly crowded atmosphere.

Geez, where do I start ! This venue is breath taking!!!! My daughter and I saw 4 venues prior to Flora , when we walked in we both fell in love with this venue. Love at first sight feeling!! The team is amazing as well. We loved working with Amanda , she was always there to answer any questions and just over all great person. Thank you for referring us to Teressa and Manny the DJ. Our event at Flora was perfect and we couldn’t have done it without all of you .

As a plant obsessed wedding photographer, this venue is one of my FAVORITES! Flora is an absolute hidden gem of a wedding & event venue in San Diego! Covered in plants, trees and skylights, this space gets amazing light and is totally dreamy from the start. The space has endless options and so many excellent opportunities for creativity. You can have you wedding ceremony and reception here, while also exploring the fun downtown neighborhood for killer wedding party and bride and groom photos. All of the staff here is super sweet and I'm looking forward to working at this magical spot again!
