We had such a great time here! The tickets are reasonably priced, and we didn't have to wait in line. The enclosures were also decorated for Valentines Day, which was really cute. Most of the animals were very visible, though we didn't get to see the cougar or the black bear.

It only took us about an hour to walk through all the areas, as it's not a particularly large zoo. All the workers were knowledgeable and friendly as well. I also enjoyed reading the educational signs they have.

Went to this place with my family and had an amazing time! The animals awake and active. I love how they have peacocks walking around the property it gives a nice touch. Staff was really friendly and helpful in telling us about the animals and where they came from!. Definitely recommend. I will be back!!

Came on a Sunday and got there early enough at 10am that there was no wait to get in. Nice little zoo that was easy to walk around and push a stroller. Hard to get lost following the path around the whole zoo. They had so,e animals that you don’t see at the Sacramento zoo which is nice. The animals are all rescues so it’s nice to support this zoo. Staff was really friendly and felt more of a family atmosphere than other zoos. Kids had a flood time watching the bears feed.

They are closed, but I know it's a wonderful rescue zoo. Beautiful park next door. Separate play areas for big kids and the Littles.

So I didn't quite know what to expect when it came to the zoo and over all my kids enjoyed themselves. That said most of the animals were in hiding so we didn't see much and the environments are a bit small for some of the animals.

Only $7 p/p to get in. A good starter local zoo for young children. Zoo is behind the library. Upon exit, there is a playground for the children to play at. Along with a hike trail with a beautiful bridge.
