Very nice and clean building. Clean bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy and free parking. Great place to buy used books for adults and kids.

Great location and fantastic librarians. Would be a five star library except for two things. ONE: whenever I go to return my books before library hours, there is a Folsom city truck parked in the "outdoor book return" parking while the WHOLE rest of the parking lot is empty. TWO: the whole "quiet in the library" rule is not enforced. If you want a quiet area to study or work you have to reserve a room or leave. Its really hard to explain to my kid why we follow the quiet rule but no one else has to, I've just settled on 'because they all left their manners at home'.
RATING SYSTEM: 1 for not good, missed expectations. 2 is needs improvement. 3 is average, mid. 4 is good, met most expectations. 5 is for excellent, exceeded expectations.

We stopped here because it was raining, and we had time to kill before our film started at the movie theater. When I pulled inside the parking lot, I immediately noticed how nice the building was. Inside, we only ventured to the kids' area. The librarian for this section was helpful and informative. They have quite a bit of seating for kids and parents to sit and read, which is what my son and I did for about an hour. They also have computers that the kids can play games on. The picture book section is also cute, with toys for the kids. It was an inviting environment which made for a nice visit. Also, the books I took a picture of were too cute not to share.

An awesome source of knowledge for kids & adults in Folsom. Excellent location, ample parking. Variety of books, dvds, audio books for kids, teens & adults. They do have great events though out the month including LEGO building, 3D printing, Chess, Creative workshops for teens, english discussions, book reviews, paiting/drawing. Checkout is easy through self-checkout kiosks. Well maintained infrastructure and also pleanty of natural lighting.

Staff is very helpful, and even though they may not have the book you want in stock, it can be easily shipped here from other libraries in the region.

Love this local Library. Great for the kids, can reserve books to read and they have reading programs to get kids interested. Decent selections for each area including new arrivals. Why not save a few bucks and borrow instead of buying. There really is no substitute for real books, though I love to read on Kindle as well. Happy hunting, picked up William Gibson The Peripheral, been wanting to read this one for a minute.

Fun play place and story time for kids. Good book selections. Has recycle for batteries and grocery bags (but also can take those to Food Bank). Folsom needs to fix home less problem around here since some don't feel safe going anymore. I would say Sac or Cali needs to, but who are we kidding. At least it's better lately. Also library is right next to zoo, playground, and some small parks. Also bulk cardboard recycle in dirt lot behind.
